Last night, April 3rd with tornado warnings til 8pm and with high winds we reached out to you via text and followed up by a one on one phone call that the ridge cap you removed and then reinstalled on March 22 had blown completely open.  We also explained new roof panels were being buffetted and needed securing.  You agreed to come out and then never showed up.  Dave called at least 2 more times and left voicemails.  I sent additional text requesting your arrival time and included vidoe to support how serious the situation was.  I also tried calling.  You ignored all our attempts to reach you. Today, April 4th we once again made numerous attempts to reach you.  It is only when I call from a unfamiliar cell that you chose to answer.  I said hello Bob this is Brenda Meyer and you hung up on me. This email is to notify you that you have violated our contractual agreement. Your failure to secure the roof has resulted in additional damages to our property.  It was negligent of you to do so and negligent of you not to respond on site last night. We can not move forward with a company and individual who puts our home, dwelling, and our expensive Airstream at risk like you did last night.  We also refuse to move forward with a company and individual such as yourself who avoids communications with their client.  The quality of your work was poor at best. I had requested your material bills today so that I could rationalize how much of the 4200 downpayment you need to return.  Since you refuse to comminicate I have now filed a complaint with the BBB for the full amount. Dave and I have spent too many hours of our own personal time following after poorly installed materials.  As homeowners we had to climb on the metal roof and fix the ridge cap you failed to secure.  We did not sign up for these kinds of games. It seems very unlikely Bob that you have the metal roofing experience you told me you had when I was looking for a roofer. It puddled the next rain, I sent Bob pictures, he would not look at them & said I don't know what you are worried about, this roof is guaranteed for ten years, within 2 months it leaked , it has leaked 2 to 3 times each year since, Bob would not respond to numerous calls & texts until I agreed to remove a complaint I filed with the BBB. Each time it happens, he becomes angry, says "his roofs don't leak", he has come out 4 times in the last 3 years but it takes weeks to reach him each time. Now he says it should have been flashed, he will flash it if we pay more, but can't say when he will come out to bid. It has ruined the ceiling, and a laptop. We can't replace the ceiling because it keeps leaking. He escalates quickly on the phone, says he's had problems with this system against"rough brick."If it needed flashing, it should have been part of the bid in the first place. When we replaced a roof, we expected it not to leak and if it did, for the problem to be fixed in a timely professional way. This has been a nightmare. We are calling another company and getting an attorney.

After a successful and responsive refinishing project I had high hopes for painting of my interior…read morehome. All started well enough, and we got things started. I was under the impression that these were direct employees of his, his crew. Basically he was acting as a general contractor that hired another company or hired some people looking for work. Not really sure here. I realize I made some changes, but they were clear and written in a revised proposal. I didn't want the doors painted, then I got a phone call that they were painted. Sure, he didn't charge me for this, but that is proper after all. I didn't want the trim painted, and paid for that, because I missed it in the proposal. My fault. They also painted the hardware for opening/closing the windows, those were metal and need the proper paint, I did have them take that off. The house didn't have flooring in, so I was asked about drop cloths, I said use them but don't worry too much about a few paint splatters. However, I did indicate that I wasn't removing the slate flooring and to be careful. Here is a big fail, many paint spots. He tried to have them clean it up. Now the floor is sticky, you can here the soles of your shoes and feel it too. He tried cleaning that up, when it wasn't done, he offered to do it again. I really felt he had done enough. I'm still trying to find a way to clean this up, because it's sticky any dust or what not sticks to it. It's really upsetting, as I loved this detail. I will look to bring in some professionals and see what this will set me back. There's also spots on the bathroom floors, which were also said that I wasn't removing. And those doors that were painted, they weren't dry and were closed, now that paint has popped off, so I have to touch that up, or maybe just start replacing doors. I realize also this review is a year since the work was done, I was in the middle of doing the rest of the work this last year. I almost considered them for doing the kitchen rehab. I really feel I dodged a bullet there. Noah, is a nice man, I think his intentions are good. However, the whole interior project was a mess, left me very frustrated, and I have projects left to do because of it. I don't think he checked up on the work as it was being done, and I don't think he looked at it after until I contacted him. Paint shouldn't have been on that slate, nor should you stick to your floor. I also had to point on paint spots on light fixtures, that should've been cleaned. Just no.
