He said yes he could so we provided him with the year make and model as well as the VIN number and scheduled the appointment with him. We contacted him again couple of days prior to our appointment to confirm he can get it done and he told us as long as we get the vehicle to him by 9am on the day of our appointment. Today was our appointment and we had the car at his business by 8 and again they reassured us it will be fixed by end of business today. So since we had the owners assurance that it would be fixed today, we turned in our rental car. We didn't get any updates so we called in the afternoon and was told there was a mistake and they didn't have our windshield and someone was supposed to have called us but they forgot. Now I understand they are busy but don't make promises if you can't keep them, especially if you're the owner!

Well, are you surprised we took itt Redd's too? And it turned out a minor fix. It was under 100.00 when finished. Really? You can't find anything under 100?! But they were. And it was good complete work! They are very informative, very professional, and very down to earth, explaining everything and making sure you have no questions. They fix it right the first time. I came to Pat's Auto repair hoping to get my AC fixed. I was told that the problem was one of two…read morepotential issues, my compressor or the expansion valve needed to be replaced. But the mechanic had no way of identifying which problem it was unless they repaired them each. He never gave me the indication or deliberately said "I can fix the expansion valve but I don't have the equipment to fix the compressor." In fact, he referenced to how he could fix both multiple times. Both would be costly so we decided to start with the expansion valve which was the cheaper one to fix. I allowed him to do the repair in good faith that if this wasn't the correct thing that needed to be replaced then at least we'd know what the issue actually was and that he'd also be able to fix the compressor need be. WRONG. He NEVER told me that he didn't have the equipment at his shop in order to repair the compressor. In fact, I'm quite certain that he said he'd be able to do both. I allowed him to fix my expansion valve and SURPRISE, I still have no AC in my car and I'm out $320 bucks. I'm not a spiteful person and I'm very reasonable but as a mechanic you should communicate the capabilities your shop has before deliberately working on people's cars. I left feeling like I was scammed because in no world would I have allowed him to touch my car and pay him for essentially doing nothing. I appreciate the diagnosis but what good is a diagnosis if you can't do anything to repair the problem. And just so I'm clear, yes I do in fact believe that he fully knew he could not replace my compressor and let me run with the idea that he was capable of doing so. At least I have a brand new expansion valve though, right? All in all I do not recommend coming here unless you want your time and money wasted. If I could give 0 stars, I would but here's one for free Gatorade and water to ride home in the heat I guess.

Daffern's Auto Service left me stranded after I called road side assistance to get my tire fixed…read more They used my battery to air up my tire without starting my car first. When my car wouldn't start afterward they said they had no had no jumper cables. They said they would have to leave and come back which would cost me $65 out of pocket. They said I could get someone else to jump me. They left. I called back begging them for help since tire repair services close at 6pm and 7pm and it was 5:45. They again stated it would be an additional $65 out of my pocket. I told them I'd call USAA to see if they cover it and hung up. Suddenly they were blowing up my phone trying to reach me. They knew they were wrong. USAA said they should know I was covered for that and took my request for a complaint noting they left me stranded. 1. What tow service doesn't have jumper cables. 2. Who leaves a customer stranded without at least calling the insurance company to get authorization to jump the car for 65. 3. Who charges the customer 65 because they forgot the tools they should have. DONT USE THESE GUYS.
