Used my insurance app to call for a winch out. Inital response was a 90-120 minute wait. Fine, roads are rough and I am not in immediate danger. Just greatly inconvenienced by my car sliding out of my driveway and being stuck in the yard. I attempt to call the number linked, but it just rings with no answer or VM. 2 hours pass. Insurance asks if he has shown up. Report no. Insurance calls him again, I guess? And he reports a 45 minute wait time. 45 minutes passes, and he cancels the assistance, stating he could not see me. He never showed up or drove by from what I could tell. Definitely did not approach my home, as that was the service address. Now, 5 hours after initial contact with insurance, I am still waiting on service because I believed he would help, and now I am at the back of every queue that has formed all day. Waited over 6hrs for a tow then they informed me they were unable to complete the service

I originally had a fairly scathing review here. I had a particularly rough experience with this company, resulting in an over 6-hour delay with rocky communication. However, the owner reached out to me and was very professional and apologetic, which means a great deal to me. Hence, the amended review. I think an owner's willingness to address customer concerns is a huge factor in business performance. I hope that, if I use their service again, it's an experience that reflects Scott's professionalism. read more

Horrible service. Deserve zero stars. My credit card company has towing as a perk. Called CC Company and they charged me $80. Said the truck would be there in 2 hours. 2 hours later JHTS calls and demands another $100. I knew it was a scam. Called CC company and they confirmed that no additional $$ should be charged. Company owner bounced a check for driver DOT physicals and doesn't respond to phone calls. He will be sent to the prosecutor's office.

Very friendly and helpful good people to deal with I would use them again if needed I recommend this service for life .

I had a 2009 Nissan Murano and was driving from Centerville OH to Liberty IN. When we got there the oil temp went to high, so we pulled over. I called USAA and they had a tow for us called Just Hauler. They came and took my car to their garage. We called several times about the status of our car and 5 days later they said it was ready. They changed the radiator, hoses and thermostat and it cost us $1,273.15. We went to pick it up and on the way from Richmond IN to Centerville OH, about 27 miles down the road, it started spewing black smoke from under the car, so we pulled over and there was transmission fluid spraying from under the car as well. At that point the car was running but would not drive. We pushed it into a parking spot and called USAA again to have it towed. This time they had it sent to Miamisburg Auto because it was closer to our home. They had it for a couple of days and said that Just Hauler did a terrible job. They sent me pictures and showed they used zip ties, and they used old clamps and put the clamps in the wrong spot which is why the car drove for a little bit but then wasn't secure enough, so the hoses came off. Needless to say, our transmission was shot. We had to junk the car. We asked Just Hauler only for our money back that we paid due to their poor job and costing us our vehicle. They said they would only pay us $526.85 for labor and not parts since the parts were still on the car. We feel that they should pay us the full amount because not only did we lose our car, but we paid for something to be fixed and instead they made it worse. I am not saying that the parts were bad, I am saying that their work was bad. The mechanic from Miamisburg Auto said he would testify to such bad work. We had called Just Hauler and texted them over 30 times in 3 weeks with little to no communication from them. At one point the owner was yelling at me and hung up on me. They said they had to look at their camera's and see if there was wrongdoing. There must have been evidence since they said they fired the mechanic however they refused to give us our full amount back per the advice of their lawyer. They are saying they will not give us our money back because we didn't take the car back to them and took it to a new mechanic instead, but we were just taking it where our insurance took it. There is nothing wrong with taking a vehicle to a different mechanic. Just Hauler told us if we used a credit card, they would charge us an extra 4% and if we paid in cash, they would take off 3%. We were trying to save money because that is a lot of money to spend. Not only did we lose the money spent but we lost the car which was about $6k. Do not go to Just Hauler. They do horrible work and they do not take responsibility for their poor work. read more
