I'm from Toronto where there are lots of high and substandard Chinese food restaurants and this fits in the lower of the 2. Terrible service, way over priced, and the chicken stir fry had no chicken either than a few grounded up lousy bits. Please do not go here and disappoint yourself. You are better off going else where. I typically never give such nasty negative reviews but when trying to discuss my concerns with the owner, she contested everything I rationally said. read more

Stumbled upon this restaurant while traveling through. Ordered the scallop and shrimp with vegetables stir fry, and mixed vegetable lo mien. Was all very well cooked, not oily, veggies still crisp, nice shrimp and scallops, great flavor. Menu says no MSG. Impressed and would recommend. read more

Fast, professional and very much bang for your buck. The best spring roll I have ever had very very crunchy. I had the signapore noodles, they were good but not great. I will be returning that's for sure! Good Chinese is hard to come by, and this sure is good! read more

Food is way better under new ownership! Rice has a nice smoky grill flavour. The battered shrimp, chicken balls and pork are not greasy. Won ton soup leaves a lot to be desired. Very bland. Love the noodles. Buffet is great bang for your buck. read more

What is there to be said? Good food, good prices, fast service and decorated nicely with a beautiful goldfish tank. Fried vegetables and rice or vegetables and tofu are both very good, though I find myself sick after having their french fries, but it seems to just be me. Ji Wen is one of my favourite Chinese places and definitely great for vegetarians as well. read more
