They are not honest people. I asked for an itemized receipt. They sent one over and recently added a note that said, I brought in my own alternator last year. This was a blatant lie. They originally said someone from AutoZone on Camp Robinson brought the part to them. I spoke with the manager at AutoZone, and that was also false. I get back there and said I was there to pick up my car and "it was my mistake to not take that 2pm appointment, so I want to set up an appointment for tomorrow." Another guy walked in and said, "oh, your car isn't drivable. Did Sean not tell you?" I said, "No, the only time I got an update was when *I* called you." He said, "oh, yeah, the whole shifting cable needs to be replaced and we can't even call about that until Monday because it's a dealership part." First of all, I don't usually go to this mechanic because the last time I was there (which was over 5 years ago) they were super condescending to me and I left there in tears. I only came back here because it was the closest mechanic to me that was open on a Saturday. Secondly, I told them I had an appointment to replace my front brakes, and they nicely offered me a sale on their brakes, which I was going to take since the only thing I came in for was a simple bushing replacement. The guy who I dropped my car off with was nice and is the only reason this isn't a 1 star rating. Third, I don't know how mechanic hours work, but why start a bumper to bumper inspection if you can't finish the job? Because I drove the car there just fine, they MADE IT not driveable. So because of them, I had to walk home because the only person who could help me was in Rome at the time and I wasn't going to take an Uber because I need to save up all the money I can in order to afford this mechanic bill that I expect is going to cost around $500 based on a quick google search on how much a shifting cable costs, not to mention, labor... I won't return to Firestone again. I can see why they have such a low rating on here. Should have listened to by gut and not gone back. A friend of mine who works security at the mall also said Firestone will keep the security vehicle at the garage for over a week sometimes, and they need that security vehicle for their job. I've even had to call when my car had broken down. I can count on Tony to use his experience and vast knowledge to figure out anything with my car. He takes time to teach me helpful hints regarding maintenance and I can always trust him to honest with me. I cant tell you how comforting it is to stop by the shop and be greeted by Billy, Tony, Tim, Travis and John. They know me by name and never once have they let me down. I did not agree, then he decided to share his ideologies until my service was complete. This is by far the most disrespectful encounter I've had with a business in my life. As a veteran, I'm a proponent of free speech, but there is a time and a place for such discussions. I won't be returning if I am forced to listen to pontificating political conversations during my visits. I was coming through Little Rock, AR from Austin, TX on a road trip out to D.C. My car broke down about 15 miles east of Little Rock on an incredibly hot summer day. Not knowing anything about this shop, the tow truck dropped me and my car off at DJ's. When I got there around 1pm, stressed out from the breakdown, I immediately received attention and was told they could start working on my car the same afternoon. I told them what happened, that my engine had starting smoking while on the road, and then they told me to relax and that they would figure it out. Here's where it gets good: Don, the owner of the shop, LET ME BORROW HIS PERSONAL TRUCK SO I COULD GO GRAB LUNCH. Sorry for all caps, but really, that's correct and it still amazes me - after arriving and telling them about my situation, I asked if there were any lunch options within walking distance, and then Don handed me his keys and said "just use my truck to go wherever you want in the area while we work on your car". So, I did. After I got back from grabbing lunch in Don's truck - about two hours since first arriving at the shop - they had figured out the problem: a previous mechanic had done a poor job installing the car's water pump, which lead to the engine overheating. The repair would require several hours of labor and it was mid-afternoon, meaning that my car would need to stay overnight... so Don PERSONALLY DROVE ME TO A HOTEL in downtown Little Rock. Seriously... the guy took time out of his day to make sure I got to a hotel that was at least 10-15 miles away from the shop. It was his idea; I didn't ask for the ride, he just offered it to me, without any conditions. And the next day? He PERSONALLY PICKED ME UP FROM MY HOTEL, and DROVE ME BACK TO THE SHOP. Again, totally his idea. When we returned to the shop, they had fixed the problem, and then helped me communicate with the previous mechanic about the faulty part, which ultimately led to me being reimbursed by that previous mechanic. I was in my car that day, driving away, returning to my road trip. I have driven the car approximately 5,000 miles since then, all without issue. These guys helped get me out of a stressful situation, and everyone involved was competent, attentive, friendly, and helped make me feel cared for. And THAT is ultimately what good customer service is: making your clients feel at home doing business with you. These guys knocked it out of the park. I would absolutely do business with them again!

I ended up just getting a diagnostic with them and they ended up charging me less then estimated. all the employees talked to was very polite and patient. they sent way too many advertising and surveys to both my phone and email after was done with service with them. even after I left reviews and feedback, they kept sending more, feels like continuous spams
