I had always been coming to this location ever since I got a car since it is the closest to my house. They are very fast and learned about their work, however some of their staff are very pushy and would have questionable recommendations sometimes. I went to this jiffy lube for first time and guy over there told me we have different oil and it charge you $84.99 which runs up to 8k km. but he hame me 5k km label and charge me extra. he told me i dont have enough transmission fluid. i did transmission repair last month and i went back to that mechanic he checked everything is fine guy on thethis jeff lube lied. he told me need a brake oil flush and i did it. when i checked from mechanic they didnt done a flush and they charged me without doing it and charged 109.99. he told me engine air filter is bad and i went to my mechanic he already changed it in last month. this jiffy lube charged me 49.99 for that normal cost of that 13.99. these people are fooling people to make money without doing their job. I had pulled out of the car wash beside there and my van started to smoke it was overheating because i turned on my AC i was standing in front of the bays trying to figure out where i should put water on it and this kind man came out from the bay and asked if he could help me . WOW, what a God send he was i told him what happend and that i had just paid $1000 to have hosess fixed he said just pull it into the bay and he would take a look at it . I said with hesitation how much will that be? He assured me it would cost nothing i started to tear up i was already sweating so much it was 28 degreees and 9 am . He waited for the engine to cool and did a diagnostic and even got me to take a pic of the diagnostic thing that was wrong with the AC /van i dont remember his name but i remember his k8nd eyes . Thank you so much for getting this handicapped woman on her way you are a true gentleman. This place always tries to get you to spend more money than just an oil change. They claim you always have multiple things wrong that need to be changed and you could leave spending over a hundred more than you were anticipating. Today, on May 4 2018 i went to the Jiffy Lube at 104 ave in Surrey to have my oil change. I met this man, his name is Gursimran...on his name tag is Sam. He's such a sweetheart, honest , friendly, helpful and very genuine . He helped me to understand the color of the oil , filter etc. A woman like myself, doesn't know much about cars. Just go to the shop and get it to be done . Plus, he offered to help me to guide me through the free car wash. Thanks to Sam, if i didn't say yes, i probably don't know about the code thing...heeeee. I went there because it advertised on the sign that a oil change was 39.95 The guy askedme if I wanted regular or synthetic oil. I am not very cary savy so said I didn't knowbut I had my car manual. The guy looked it up & said I needed synthetic, I agreed but he didn't tell me there was a $60! difference in price. So when I got the bill it was over $100. I think they should tell you there is a price difference upfront. The man who serviced my car was polite which is the only reason I gave it 2 stars but their scammy advertised special should be clarified if there is a difference in price. Don't go to this Jeffy lube. I have been going to Jeffy lube for 15 years and trusted Jeffy lube to work on my car and regular maintenance. But this time around I had to deal with horrible and untrained employees who damaged my car and not accepting their mistake. I am a female and went in to this Jiffy Lube for a basic $39.99 oil change as price was advertised on a roadside sign. The "manager" then tried to talk me into getting the "synthetic" oil for $89.99. I told him 'NO just the basic' each time he pushed. After all was done the "manager" then tried to charge me the $89.99 ...I pushed back and said NO I repeatedly declined that ...it wasn't until I said "I feel you are scamming and taking advantage of me" that he let up. I would not recommend this place to anyone. You have to stay in your car and you can't see anything...not even the type of oil they use or even if the air filter they want to sell you actually came out of your car. I know the manager here tried to scam me because I had $100 dollars in my bank account until my payday 5 days away - there is no way on earth I would of left myself zero money for 5 days..he got caught trying to scam me and he should be ashamed of himself!!! read more

The first few times I used this shop they seemed nice. Explained to me what they were doing and why. The last time I went the gentleman told me I need to have my rad fluid flushed. And that he couldn't allow me to leave without having it done. I explained to him I didn't have the extra $120 to have it flushed and would have to wait. He told me it needed to be done an it couldn't wait. Not being someone to know much about cars I agreed reluctantly. For home and spoke to my husband and they had tried to get him to so the same thing a few weeks before. The gentleman helping me made me feel pressured and uncomfortable. Stick with a basic oil change and a free car wash. Don't get talked into anything else like engine flush or coolant flush. I was pressured into getting an engine flush, which added another $100 to the cost. I talked to my Honda rep later that day and he said it is utterly unnecessary. Not only that, there were reviews on the internet stating that it might also harm your engine by doing so. Did my oil change yesterday and there is a puddle of oil right under my oil filter. I'm going to take my car back for some warranty work. Staff was polite though. That's the only positive. read more

These guys are absolutely awesome! Been here twice for an oil change and each time they are super polite and well mannered. They include lots of extras like vacuuming the interior, you get a free car wash, check and fill your tires with air, they check all your other fluids, your lights and let you know of any concerns. But they won't pressure you into anything. They are quick and I and I'm always served right away. They also have a punch card system, so the 5th oil change is free! Totally worth it! They also pressuring me to get my transmission and radiator fluid change on top of my oil change. All I wanted to spend was $60 for the oil change but ended up costing me $450. The worst thing is my car over heated because of their incompetence not mixing the correct radiator fluid to water ratio. People, stay away from this place at all cost. read more

I took my car here for an oil change. Within in a few short weeks the engine light came on so I took the car to my Ford dealer. Ford found that 4 litres of oil had leaked out due to a faulty oil filter installation and caused engine damage. After complaining to Jiffy Lube, they say that there is no liability on their part. Now it will cost up to $12,000 for a new engine. Beware of these quickly places. They don't care if the job is done correctly or not. read more

DON'T GO HERE! Or any Jiffy Lube for that matter. The experience is the equivalent of going to the doctor for minor surgery but being forced into a major surgery on multiple organs without your consent and being left with a hefty bill! I've been to this location twice and I've been ripped off both times. The first time, I went in and specifically told them that I only needed an oil change because I didn't have a budget for anything else. The man, named KEVIN, started opening transmission fluid and told me that it needed to be replaced because it is already black but when I asked the other shop they told me there was nothing wrong. He replaced my filter which was fine, but even though my wipers are still running smooth he tried to replace them. He sold me two filters (one is $35 and one is $55). One I checked on Canadian tire, they don't even cost half of what he charged me. The second time, I went in again for just an oil change and the same guy, went under my car and tried to open the transmission bulb again, insisting that I needed to change the transmission oil when I know I didn't need to. The other guy, named Jai, he began to open my spark plug when all I needed was a quick oil change. He insisted it was part of their free check up, but when they gave me their checklist of things they supposedly checked, I could tell they lied because I sat there the whole time and knew everything they were checking. Meanwhile, Kevin was under my car and I know he was doing something unrelated to changing the oil because the car was moving. I am left with a bad taste in my mouth and would not recommend anyone go to them unless you want to be ripped off badly. read more

I would give this Jiffy Lube location zero stars but I don't have that option so they get one star. This business should be closed down as soon as possible. I phoned Jiffy Lube the day before I went there and asked how much a basic oil change was. I was told it was $59.95 I went there the next day near the end of the business day. I told them I only wanted a basic oil change and that I had already phoned to make sure of the price. The employee agreed that was the correct price. By this time my car was over the pit and you can't just drive off. The employee told me my oil was dirty (which was why I was getting an oil change) and that he couldn't do it without doing an engine flush because it would be no use to just change the oil and my engine would be ruined. He then said my transmission oil needed to be changed. After that, I can't quite remember how many other things he said I needed, but I said that I wouldn't get anything done then and wanted to leave. All of a sudden, the guy was back peddling and said that no, he didn't mean I needed all that immediately, but I absolutely needed an engine flush because the engine would be damaged without it. I told him I had a certain budget and would not go over it. He said it would now be $89.95 I asked him several times if he was telling the truth and it really needed it. He swore he was telling the truth. Of course it turned out that seems to be their scam judging by my experience ans some of the other reviews. Their sign says it is a ten minute oil change and they kept me there for forty minutes and the place was deserted. It was like I was captive. When he finally sauntered back to me, he said the final bill was $156. 95. I said that he had said it would be $89.95. He said that he meant it would be another $89.95. I protested and said that I had told him several times that I was not going over my budget. At this point I wanted him to phone the police, and I would have gladly filed a report saying what their business practices are. He asked me how much money I had. That didn't strike me as very professional. He finally realized I wouldn't pay more than $100 and miraculously he came up with a bill for $98.53. Still most of the charges he has listed are bogus. Do. Not. Trust. I wouldn't give these guys ANY stars at all. Went to them to get an oil change, adviced us to also get a hot engine flush. After the service - and after various other things they did (we heard loud banging and pounding done), our car made a loud roaring noise when starting the engine and stepping on the gas. We took the car to a repair shop (Top's Auto Repair) and it turned out that the Jiffy Lube guys might've messed up with the bolts and pipe that connects to the muffler. The car was running smoothly and no noise before Jiffy Lube touched it. I suggest you take your car elsewhere if you need any service done. read more

i've been to this branch a few times for oil change ($39) with free car wash in washworld. i thought that was a good deal. on the 2nd and 3rd visit, i noticed they started showing more problems that needed to be fixed. for those who don't know engines and cars, you will tend to believe what they say and the costs add up before you know it. prices are jacked up. the oil stabilizer costs $29 but it's only $19 at canadian tire. they checked the battery and showed me that it needed to be changed with warnings of dire consequences if not done right away. they added they could give me a good deal. i asked for second opinion from another shop the next day. they tested the battery (for FREE!) and said it was still good even if they could have said i should get a new one because i was already willing to buy it from them and pay additional for installation. bad customer service of someone there at jiffy lube who just rattled off everything wrong with our vehicle. i have only liked one person there who was patient enough to explain things to me and didn't seem to be after my money. seemed trustworthy. but at other times, i felt ripped off. my advice to those who go there for oil change is stick to oil change and get the free car wash, then go somewhere else for other services they tell you to have on your car. read more

I had an oil change recently at this place and of course they tried to hard sell me into doing a coolant flush and hot oil flush. I declined this offer and they proceeded with the oil change. When they needed to start the car they never asked for my keys, they just proceeded to try to jam house keys that they found on my passenger seat into the ignition... I noticed them messing with my air intake but didn't say anything. I suppose they were checking the air filter. As they were finishing up the guy tried to tell me that the Royal Purple 15W-40 I brought them wasn't synthetic motor oil. At this point I just wanted to get out of there. When I got home I looked everything over and noticed a mess of oil on pretty much anything they touched. On my next trip the car was not boosting correctly and it threw a code. I pulled the code and narrowed the problem down to a leak on the air intake. I have a performance pipe going from my MAF sensor to the turbo compressor inlet. It is aluminum and stiffer than the plastic stock one so when they opened the air box they dislodged this pipe from the silicone seal and created a leak. I fixed the leak, cleared the code, and cleaned up all the hand prints with simple green. Lesson learned - next time I will either do it myself or make sure that a non-mechanics never touch my car. read more
