L ucy was very unprofessional during our communication. It would take several days for her to…read morerespond and it seemed as if she wanted me to work my availability around a trip she was taking. After sending several messages trying to find a compromise, she stopped responding. The next week she contacted me again. I expressed that I wouldn't feel comfortable with her because of her inability to communicate with me in a timely manner and her communication was lacking in professionalism. Her response was that I was not her client and therefore she didn't feel the need to get back to me as quickly. I was very confused by this, as I would never commit to a photo shoot with a photographer who isn't able to respond to me in a timely manner. This was family photo shoot that many of us were traveling to the Dallas area for. Our dates weren't flexible and it was important to me to find someone who could ensure that it would be a smooth process. All in all I felt Lucy was unable to provide time with the level of service I expect. Furthermore, after ending our conversation, she continued to harass me through text message until I asked her to stop. If you are planning to book a photographer please look elsewhere! I am not sure if this if her normal work ethic, if I had done something to offend her, or if she was having a bad week. Regardless of the reason, her attitude was very off putting and her professionalism was lacking.

Her very, very reasonable session fee includes a CD with the edited photos separated by color and black and white and recommendations on where to print (but you can print or do whatever you like with the photos). She has tons of props, backgrounds, hats, wraps, headbands, baskets, etc. She even had a fishing pole and hat - my husband loved that. :) You can just show up with your baby, and she'll make the magic happen. Her studio is kept warm and she uses a heating pad on surfaces so your little one will pose and be happy. She doesn't rush you at all; I had time to feed Nova - and even pump since we're on preemie triple feedings. She also has beverages and snacks for parents. Besides the fact that our pictures are perfection, Paige is incredibly awesome to work with. Our daughter was born a month early so we hadn't planned any newborn pictures. She was able to squeeze us in on short notice and finished editing the photos in a couple days. She even hand delivered them to us because she was in our neighborhood. We will definitely use Paige Rance photography for our next baby photos. If you are looking for a newborn, children, or family photographer, you will be thrilled with Paige. We couldn't be happier with our newborn pictures!

With everything going on, our hospital was not allowing visitors at the time of our son's birth. Paige was so accommodating and agreed to meet us in our home to be able to do the session. She was extremely courteous with regards to the pandemic (wore a mask, etc) and made sure we were comfortable throughout the whole process. Fantastic! Had a boudoir session with Erin today and it was so easy and relaxing it was unreal. I…read morewoke up in the morning super anxious and nervous for what was about to take place, not even 5 minutes later (I swear she was reading my mind), I get a text about the day and how she was going to be with me every step of the way. I arrived a little early, disheveled and not prepared (hair a mess and makeup not done) and she was so patient with me as I prepped myself for the shoot. Getting in and out of the wardrobes was easy, she guided me with every pose and she even took the pressure off by having great music and of course her awesome dance moves. She made me feel incredibly comfortable--which is hard to do when you're half naked in front of a stranger! But Erin is such a professional and never made things awkward. She knows exactly how to pose you to make you look sexy and hide all the areas you might be a little self-conscious about.
