I have since heard from several people (including photographer friends that see her post on Facebook about her received complaints on photography groups) that I am not the first to have this experience with her and this is a pretty normal situation with her. If you have used her in the past, I highly recommend you review your portraits done by her. I hope that your portraits were great, but I know for a fact that I'm not alone in my experience and the fact that she wont correct it and blocks customers with issues has led me to this point. Important Information: I am a photographer myself and believe in supporting the industry. I have had over 10 portrait sessions in the past 6 years and they were completed by 5 different photographers. I strive to be the client I want to work with and love all of the portraits I've gotten with other photographers. I use different photographers to get different styles of portraits. I paid about $250 for the "model session" and an extra $200 to get all of the portraits from the session in advance. I received 47 portraits total, I am content with 5 of them. They all have severe editing issues like Cloning mistakes, Oversmothing of the skin, and AI generating issues. The portraits took place on June 25th, I received them on Aug 4th. I only reviewed them on my phone up until last night. I do print out large portraits from Smallwoods and hang them in my house, so quality matters. I have had other family members and other photographers review my photos as well and they agree they were badly edited. My goal here is to leave an honest review since she apparently doesn't allow people to do that on her Facebook site. And to hopefully stop this from happening to someone else. Im not sure if I have ever even left a bad review on here before, but this needs to be done. I don't want her to go out of business, I want her to do better for her clients. (I messed up on numbering the email photos, there is no number 3)

Our initial meeting was impressive; both Megan and Jane met with me to discuss what we wanted to capture during our birth experience. Taking the time to spend over an hour with us vs. just emailing over pricing information spoke volumes. They truly connected with us. It didn't hurt that they are both super fun to be around! I went through three weeks of prodromal labor, with several trips to the hospital. Each time, Megan was ready and waiting for my call for her to come. She continuously checked in on me to make sure I was doing well, even on Christmas Eve and when the tornadoes came through! We opted to have Blush Little Baby document our labor and birth experience, the "Fresh 48" when our two year old came to the hospital to meet his baby brother, and our newborn and family session. The patience and attention to detail that Megan demonstrated throughout our entire birth experience was priceless. Her easy going demeanor made me forget she was even there at times! We joked that we would love to have her come over every night to put out newborn to bed; she is the baby whisperer! The quality of our photographs are truly amazing. I cried when I saw them. Megan captured our experience in a way that I did not think was possible. My only regret is that I didn't know her when our two year old was born! FYI, there's an option for auto countdown or using the shutter. We opted for the shutter option and didn't realize the countdown was for the entire session. Also, it takes about 6 photos to choose from.

MAKE SURE YOU LOOK INTO THIS THOROUGHLY. Then we got to pick how many we wanted printed & its only in even numbers. Each strip costs $5. You only get 1 chance to retake and you can't mix and match photos from both takes to create the perfect one. Lastly, you can add a filter, and I definitely recommend the dark one.
