So disappointed. My face is not very symmetrical, and my eye sockets definitely aren't! Therefore, I've always had difficulty trying to get my eyebrows to look right and to try to make my face look a little balanced. SO, I finally decided it was time to see a pro! I let my brows just grow completely out for over 3 months...and looked awful but wanted the technician to have a blank slate to start from. After reading reviews, I decided to give Jill's a try. I carefully explained everything to the technician. After she finished, I pointed out that the right one was noticeably thicker than the left. She said no. Then, for the tinting, I said I didn't want them too dark, but she did them VERY dark. In the car, looking in the mirror, I wanted to cry but decided to go home and get a really good look in a better mirror and in better light. Nope, not any better...they are CLEARLY not the same thickness, not even the same shape, and are VERY dark! On the plus side, the technician was proficient, the establishment was clean, and the price was fair. read more

I came to this location when it first opened up and it was great. About 2 years later I came back because of how good of a job the owner had done a while back. Today the woman working with me, accidentally scratched under my eyebrow and tried telling me it was there before I got there. Mistakes happen, just own up to it. I had no scratch before I got there- being that we both looked at my eyebrows before she started. She was clearly a novice at threading. I got my brows threaded at another place because I couldn't go to Greensboro and they was threaded wayyy too thin and I really didn't like it. If I could leave this place no stars I would, they are not even worth 1 star. Me and my friend came in to get our lashes done. When we walked in, it took forever for someone to come out and greet us, we weren't even sure if anyone was in the store,which was very unprofessional. The lady tells me to sit down in the chair and lay back, so she starts applying the lashes, she applied so many layers I could tell that this was going to turn out bad. Once my turn was done, my friend got in the chair. Let me start off by saying that this place is VERY unsanitary. She used the same tweezers and equipments on her eyes that she used on mine. WHO DOES THAT?! Anyways, I was watching her do my friends lashes and she did not just dip the tip (root) of the lashes in the glue, she dipped the root and half of the lash into the glue which caused the finish results to look crappy and feel crappy. We couldn't even see clear anymore. All we could see was black chunks sitting on top of our lashes. My eyes started to burn a little and then they became swollen. The fake lashes hardened up on my real lashes which is not supposed to happen, forcing me to use lash removal and my REAL lashes still managed to rip off. DO NOT GO HERE. This place is literally in the very right hand corner of the Big Lots shopping center. The addy is actually 4217 W Gate City Blvd not Hight Point Rd...I scheduled an appointment online but from what I can tell they also take walk-ins. The prices were great- eyebrow threading was 9$ and their pricing for other areas is great as well especially compared to other places that only offer waxing vs. threading of the same areas. They are friendly and efficient and now that I know where it actually is...Its likely I will def try them again for more services. read more
