Completely just ripped me off. I asked for two services (eyebrow and upper lip). They ask every time if I want the barely visible hair on my chin and I say no. Today, without even asking me she quickly threaded my chin (again, despite the request for brow and upper lip) and then proceeded to charge me more than double what I usually pay. read more

very disappointed with my last visit here. this is my usual go-to brow place and just like everytime I come I bring my non english speaking mom with me. the brow tech started with my mom and asked me what we were doing and I said "just brows today" she said ok. she then asked what about lip? I said "no thank you" she asked my mom and quickly realized she doesn't understand so I translated and she then said no thanks! she then proceeded to start with upper lip and quickly moved on to lower lip without asking on top of that after finishing brows she asked me about doing her forehead. I said no thank you so she didn't but turns out I was charged for that as well. I was charged for upper lip, lower lip, forehead when all she came for was eyebrows. I have never had my eyebrows threaded before so I was excited. I typically get my eyebrows waxed and tinted. I know that threading is quicker/better for the skin and they offered a tint as well. I thought I would receive at least a similar look to what I was used to. I showed a very specific image to the woman doing my eyebrows and what I received is nothing like the image. I will include what I wanted (image 1) vs. what I got (image 2) for reference. Image 1 are my eyebrows so I know it is more than possible to have them look that way again. I have recently moved and have been waiting months to get my eyebrows done. I am very particular - which is why I showed a picture. I cried for hours after getting home and really examining my eyebrows. I scrubbed at my eyebrows to try and remove some of the tint. I thought that this would be a great new spot to get my brows done based off of the photos provided but I am sad to say I am wrong. I go here a decent amount, one time I took my boyfriend and he specifically said please just clean up and they did the opposite, he had womanly eyebrows for a month and every single time i go there they always ask if i want my upper lip done which i could understand its a business of course they're going to try to upsell to you but Ive gone in there and shave my peach fuzz off right before heading in there and they still ask which just makes question if they are trying to make you feel insecure to gain a profit but other then that they somewhat do decent eyebrows. Why havent i been going to NANCY all this time?! Ughhhh! My sister told me to get my eyebrows done with Nancy. I finally went today and she is AMAZING! I went in with VERY ugly eyebrows and she left me looking completely different. I got my eyebrows done as well as my upper and lower lip. Fifteen minutes later, I did just that. The studio is located in a busy plaza with plenty of parking (extra points). You can get lunch or groceries afterwards. First observations was how clean and bright this place was. There was no wait when I walked in so Nancy was able to take me right away. I've been there a few times now and LET ME TELL YOU- she is BETTER than the reviews. She is super fast and knows how to shape your eyebrows to compliment your face. Nancy is great and I don't plan on seeing anyone else, I've found my NC brow person! It took a while to find a place that had the artistic touch to get the shape that would look best and while I use to go to Chandis, it was hard always sticking with the same woman due to my schedule. The last time I went my shape was completely changed ruining months of regrowing my brows and shaping and I decided I needed to find a new place. I have been going to this place for two years now. Every week or every two weeks. I have had my eyebrows threaded before. I have been at many other places. I don't know why I am so sensitive but at all the other places I was squirming in my shoes. The pain was so bad that I was getting anxious just thinking about it. Nancy is good and fast. Worst place I have ever been to. She kept insisting that I was lying about having my eyebrows done before? And in a really rude way. I explained very clearly what I wanted, and instead of listening she took offense and started being rude. I have reason to believe she intentionally messed up my eyebrows and hurt me (I'm bleeding. There's hair all over my eyebrows still and on my mustache. When I pointed out the stray hairs she argued with me, then made me bleed when "fixing" it. I go out of my way to get my eyebrows threaded here. I have sensitive skin and I'm a total cry baby when it comes to anything being near my face. I love Nancy's work. She has a light touch and is efficient - so it doesn't feel like a torture session. She will clean up and also shape your brows. I'm always getting compliments on my eyebrows, so she's a total boss. Very upset after giving this place a chance many times before deciding I won't be returning. Every time I've gotten my eyebrows done, they rudely ask if I want my lip waxed multiple times. Today, I was asked four times, once after the eyebrow threading was complete. This makes me believe they aren't doing it because some people are scared, but more to convince you so they can get more money. They could talk about anything else other than rudely telling you you have hair on your upper lip to help with being scared.
