The reviews seemed relatively good as well, so I figured this would be the ideal place to stay for my first trip to the city. Like my other hotel reviews, I'll separate this into pros and cons - so here we go! There's a lot to like about Warwick Le Crystal. I think the location is one of its biggest strengths. You are in the downtown area, so we were super close to Rue Sainte-Catherine, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and the Underground City. The hotel is also very close to the Metro which made it very easy to commute to other areas of the city. The hotel features are another pro; our room was huge and tastefully decorated - large enough to hold two king-size beds with plenty of space for other furniture. The bathroom was very spacious, and the TV was set up to connect streaming services. The mini bar was pretty well stocked, as well as the toiletries and towels in the bathroom. What I also found unique about this hotel was that there was a kitchenette in the room, complete with plates, cups, and silverware. There is an onsite restaurant that serves BLD, though I did not dine there. There are not many cons that come to mind, though I can see where the aesthetics may not be everyone's taste. Once could also argue the location is a turnoff, as you are away from touristy areas such as Old Montreal and Mile End. To close, I want to give kudos to the staff - they were consistently professional and friendly; our stay was augmented by their customer service. Overall, I had a great stay at Warwick Le Crystal; while I am curious about other lodgings in the city, I would definitely consider returning and have no qualms recommending it to others.

I got the valet service as I am not from Montreal and didn't want to have a ticket "big mistake". The lobby is beautiful big chandeliers. I went for breakfast it was delicious. I payed for the parking $39 a day. About a month later am at the grocery store and my credit card is not working. I thought that was strange as There was no reason it should be I had just payed my credit card. Get in my car and start checking with my bank. To find out it was the hotel that charged the room to my name. The "businessman" I had seen for the meeting. Had payed with a cheque for his room and he was never charged. So it went on my credit card. I did mention who I was meeting there and that is how the got me. Long story short, I had my credit card fighting with the charge for month. Multiple phone call, I decided it was no longer worth my time. I ended up paying the amount about $635.73 They got the money good for them. For me terrible experience and definitely not worth the price. The "businessman" was obviously a scammer. I still don't understand how the hotel could just transfer the charge to me.

The art on the wall is painted by the lovely bartender, the open mic is ran by a friendly and talented musician, the decor is homely and nice, the Rock and roll was ridiculously awesome! Apparently they have an open stage or an open mic on nearly every night of the week which is fantastic. There is a pool table if great live music isn't your thing and you can also admire all the art pieces on the wall. Really glad I went there.
