Entrance to Fats on Ste-Catherine... (Montréal)
    Mike W.

Well had we not been thoroughly hammered my buddies and I would have never even thought to go in here. But the sales pitch we got was pretty convincing... there was a woman (we'd later find out was a prostitute) standing by the door, and as we walked by she flashed her big breasts & said, "Come up and by me a drink!" How could we refuse..... My guess is that she wasn't actually working FOR the bar, but rather working the guys at the bar. They had a few pool tables, but the place was more of a dive bar then anything else. We had a couple of rounds with our "new friend" and left after around the 18th time she asked us if we wanted to "go somewhere with her." And no, she didn't leave with us... she had moved on to the next guy at the bar when we were heading out.

You can also reserve room if you are a big group. There's also a restaurant with various food that we didn't try. We didn't try the arcade, we ran out of time on our schedule but we will come back. The arcade work with a card where you accumulate point that you can spent on things in the gift shop. Like many arcade, the more token you buy, the cheaper the cost per token is. We took the combo that is 1 game of bowling, 1 game of laser tag and 1 round of mini golf. The bowling is with big balls. There's a little ramp for the kids or those that just need a little help. There's only one though so you have to share it across the 8 alley. The bowling itself is nice, alley are straight and clean. There's a wide range of ball weight that should be ok for everyone. The mini golf here is special. It's not a less put parcours, it's a most point. Point are done in 2 ways. Once you put, there's a 60sec timer. The time left once you enter the cup is bonus point. The other way is through the course. There's special tricks that you can do to earn extra points and even lose some. It's a very nice twist and it was fun. We ended with a game of laser tag. I saw the maximum occupancy is 28 players splitter in 2 or 3 teams. We were 6 and honestly, the room is small. Unless there's some hidden wall that get open for more player, I wouldn't see much more then 10 players. 28 would be over crowded for sure. For us at 6, it was perfect. One thing is the room itself is dangerous. Like many laser tag room, it's dark. The problem is they put some stuff like ramp but without anything to show you the edge or worst, they put some theming. Half of us were hurt by the stage. I myself trip, while walking slowly down one of those ramp where I though it was going in a specific direction but no. I ended up falling face first, scratching my knees and nearly broking my finger. My girlfriend opened her elbow while edging a wall and our friend got some similar stuff happened. Another thing is they don't really explain you anything beside how to shoot. There's a lot of stuff in the room that you can shoot and I never knew if it did anything beside some animation. Like a wall that seems like maybe a forcefield that would maybe disable enemy shield if they walk through? I don't know. The gun had 2 way to shoot, a long laser or a short range scatter shot like a shotgun. Was fun to be able to cycle through mode. We still had fun, but the state was dangerous in my opinion. It is a nice place to have a fun spend money. Kids will love it for sure and grown up too

Also they only have big pins which I'm way more familiar wiyth the small ones and would've been much better having the choice. Also Bowling shoes weren't necessairly the most comfy ones . When it comes to food I've been surprised as I took a poutine and a cheeseburger which I thought would just substitute my Fries but they served me my poutine with a large amount of fries on the side of my burger so thanks God we were a big group so my friends could've take some cause otherwise there was way too much to eat by myself . I took an alcoholic kinda Peach iced tea which wasn't bad but didn't felt much of ana adult drink . All that considered did I enjoyed yes . Would I return yes also bbut definitely not for food or Bowling but mostly for the cllaw machines and the arcades games

On a weekend night, they only had one bar open, only selling canned drinks. Every machine and table were taken. The food area seemed to be "cafeteria" food and it didn't seem appetizing at all. There was a buffet area of some sort if you had the specific players card, but I didn't have that at the time. The DJ area was really cool, and the music being played was awesome!! Overall, it was an interesting experience, but probably wouldn't go back.

The atmosphere is modern and spacious, with a lively vibe from the casino floor but still a relaxed enough setting to enjoy a leisurely meal. Video Review will be posted on Tik Tok and Instagram soon @Foxyappetite The variety of food was impressive, covering all the brunch essentials--scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, sausages, fresh pastries, and even made-to-order omelets. We especially loved the pastries (the croissants were perfectly flaky) and the dessert section, which included decadent cakes and tarts. The Asian station was a nice touch, though not as extensive as the other options. Everything was pretty fresh, though some of the hot items like scrambled eggs could have been a bit more moist. Service was friendly, and our drinks were refilled quickly. It's a little pricier than your average buffet, but considering the quality and variety, it felt worth it. If you're looking for a fun Sunday brunch with a mix of classic and more adventurous dishes, I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you're planning to hit the casino afterward.
