He was able to squeeze in the work within the next couple of business days as I needed the work done quickly before my new tenants moved in. He estimated the work to take about 6-7 hours and it took a little longer. It took 7.5 hours with the cleanup. It was a hot, sweltering day but he was very professional and worked without complaint! I said honest earlier because I asked him if there was any hail damage. He said "no", while I've had others tell me that I had damage. My Pepco meter box needed re-attaching to my house after a siding repair. Previously, the box was…read moresnugly attached within a frame on the siding. The Meyer electrician carelessly re-attached the box more than a full 2" below where it was, at the top of the frame (see photos). The box's misplacement now interferes with waterproofing the siding of my house, so I am now taking bids from other electricians just to raise the box. Upon seeing the photographs after the repair below, a contractor of my acquaintance commented, "That does look a bit shabby." I sent Walt Meyer an email with the photographs, with the comment that nobody should be proud of the job. His only response was to send me my paid invoice. Shabby is part of the company ethic. One review starts with "Don't do it. Just plain do it." I concur. The company takes no pride in its work. You may get lucky, but the company is cheap because it does not stand behind its work.

Woke up to find a large stain on the kitchen ceiling below one of the upstairs bathrooms…read moreCalled Solomon who came the next morning They determined that one of the upstairs toilets was leaking because of deterioration in its seals They replaced the seals and rebuilt the flushing mechanism They removed the portion of the stained ceiling and replaced it with drywall They finished the next day with "Popcorn" covering over the new drywall It is very hard to match Popcorn laid down in 1977 but they made an exact match and the new drywall is indistinguishable from the 1977 drywall Solomon does first rate work at a fair price in a very timely manner and cleans up after themselves before leaving I recommend them wholeheartedly
