We had Blue Check come out to install some artificial skylights in our living room. They did a great job of covering everything including the couch and all of the surrounding shelves with plastic. Even though they needed to cut two giant holes in the living room ceiling, not a speck of dust was to be seen after. They then ran a line to the nearest outlet in the ceiling while providing careful consideration to the aesthetic appeal of the light placement. I had a built-in tv box that was super in the 90s but did not work for flatscreen TVs. My ex had built up a little shelf system in the box which surprisingly help up great over the years, but looked terrible. I'm sprucing up my condo to sell next year and we discussed options and he ended up moving the outlet and cable plug and drywalled in the whole area, then mounted a tv and installed a shelf I got off Amazon.
