Thomas in the studio upstairs. It was fun to try my hand at it! It's such a cool process. Everyone is very friendly and there are many cool finds as you're browsing around. I love shopping local and supporting artists in the community and this is the perfect place for that. The history behind it is always interesting. They actually physically moved the entire building to their current location. Make sure to get someone working to explain it to you. Pro Tip: Ask for a dishpan cookie. They are delish!

I found a one of a kind Minnesota Twins gnome I would of loved to take home if I had right amount of space in my car or budget. Alot of this stuff requires a nice big truck and great care to transport it all. Everything is more unique than the last and it's one of a kind and can only be found here. The textiles room is well-equipped, with all the equipment and supplies I could think to need and more! Megan is great! She brings her personal experience with natural dyeing and piecing, and a boatload of patience for our many, many questions. She also adapts her lesson plans to the interests of the group, and the strengths and weaknesses of the students in the group. I'm really pleased that Arrowmont had these community classes for those of us who can neither afford the time nor the prices for the national classes. Thank you, Arrowmont!
