He came back the next day in installed a new drain clean-out plug at the front of the house. He put all of the landscape rocks back over the area where we found the plug. My husband took a shower this morning and it backed up the toilets in both bathrooms and the smell of sewer actually woke me up. I had to wait until 8am to call anyone and the first 2 I tried couldn't make it until tomorrow (I should also add that a plumber I had previously used recommended Gulf Coast to me so that is why I took the risk). They were here within 30 minutes and an hour and half later they had the problem fixed. They had to find the drains outside because I had no idea where they were, dug it up, cleaned it out, ran a camera on it and even installed something so the next plumber wouldn't have to spend the time to find it again. The price was incredible, I expected to have to pay way more. I will definitely call them first next time (although I hope there isn't a next time)!

Have been having problems with our sewer line since Hurricane Harvey. Finally called Premier…read morePlumbing. They had come out a couple of months before on a clogged toilet. They did a great job and it didn't cost us an arm and a leg. After days of rain - Wednesday afternoon: We kinda knew where the problem was so they started digging with an excavator. Within 45 minutes they were at the sewer line that was broken - severely. They stopped and called the city to come look at the city side. There was a question about the city tap and they didn't want to mess with the city side. I completely understood that. It was nearing 5 so the city said they would come out "bright and early" the next morning. Thursday morning: Premier was here. City wasn't. So, we waited... and waited... and waited. Calls were made and they kept saying "We are on our way". Premier guys went to lunch and 5 minutes later, a city truck pulls up. He went to check the sewer line and in a less than 3 minutes was back telling me they were going to lunch! Said they would be back "1ish"... Thursday Afternoon: Premier is back from lunch before 1 and we are still waiting for the city guys. It was well after 2, the city guys show up and the talking starts. Premier was firm about replacing the city tap. They finally agreed and started digging. When they got to a stopping point, Premier guys went to work and never slowed down. Got the line repaired and back in service in less than an hour. Friday: Premier comes by to pick up their excavator. The city had brought one of their own to dig out their part so Premier left theirs overnight. Darrell, one of the two that worked the job said, "I'll clean up this mess a little so the ruts won't be so bad". And, he did. All the way out of the backyard to the street. We were very nervous about this repair. The cost, the displacement it might cause, and the cost. Did I mention the cost? Premier did an excellent job. They were professional and fast. I won't go into pricing because I know every job is different and it varies. I will say this - it wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. The office staff was prompt and courteous. I hope we don't have any more sewer issues, but if we do we will be calling Premier

Had a garbage disposal go bad, and it was an older one that the company is out of business…read more Purchased a new heavy duty quieter Insinkerator model, and called Marathon Plumbing to do the install. The appt was set for between 10 am and noon. They ran behind and didn't show until around 1 pm. The biggest issue though was that their estimate to swap out the disposal. The new one was already here waiting, and their estimate was $402 just to do the swap. Absolutely ridiculous. I laughed and sent them on their way, and then called another company that was here in less than 10 minutes. They did the job for $125. Won't be calling Marathon again! ***Adding detail due to the owner's comments: Yes, we were texted that "Your plumber will be arriving at the latter part of the appointment time." That would be near the noon. At 12:05 I texted and asked if there was another eta, as the time had passed. At 12:17 the response was that they had to drop off another piece of equipment and would be here in 20-30 minutes. It was longer, however that wasn't the issue, delays happen. The price was the ridiculous part. The 1-star review was for the price gouging. People need to know how ridiculous it is. - As soon as I laughed the Marathon techs out of the house I called SE Texas Plumbing and they had someone available immediately. Bradley was here in less than 10 minutes and the install/swap took another 10. Simple and fast. Adding a photo below of the new disposal already installed since it somehow seems "not feasible" to the owner of Marathon Plumbing that it is already installed and for a reasonable price.

The tech who was sent to complete my job was communicative and prompt! We were doing a whole bathroom remodel. They had to remove the old tub (cast iron), pour concrete to level out the floor, install the new tub, faucet, and shower valve, and install the new sink and faucet. I used Connor Plumbing recently and I will say the work was completed successfully and the young…read moreman who came to the house was courteous and nice but didn't appear to have a ton of experience, which is not that bad of a problem but he still was in school to finish his plumbing license and I feel he should have been with a senior plumber since he had not finished his schooling, due to any potential complications. Luckily no complications arose that I am aware of at this time. I also was quoted for another job in which seemed very over priced as it pertained to bathroom plug drain that had been broken. I was able to find another plumbing service to fix the problem for 900 dollars cheaper than what Connor Plumbing service man quoted me.. Once again this is not to talk bad about the service man who came he did complete the job and was a pleasant young man. but would have preferred someone with a little bit more experience. In order to learn the job you have to do the job which he was familiar with fixing my washer and dryer valves but seemed a little unsure of himself. Would have preferred a senior plumber there to ensure was right.
