Of course there are some of the traditional dishes you would expect, but the menu also pops with some great twists and unexpected combinations of flavors. In fact we loved our meal so much, we left the Holiday World theme park early so we could eat there again before heading home. They were even busier on a Monday night! We recommend the Foxxy Chopped Salad, the Ponata salad, the Chicken Mole (yummm) and the Steak Bowl. We didn't see a single thing come out of the kitchen we wouldn't have eaten. The staff could not have been friendlier. The owner was working the bar the first night we were there and came over to talk to us. He really want everyone to have a great time when in his restaurant. The food came out fast and before we left we also ordered a mango smoothie and mango with tajin/tamarind which was the perfect sweet treat. La Campirana is an absolute gem and one you should visit immediately!
