If only you could leave zero stars. That's what they deserve. Have given them the benefit of the doubt since we moved into the area four years ago but today was the last straw. Being this isn't the first time this has happened I had to leave a review. Placed an order at 11:49am, fully expecting it to take a half hour for delivery, but when it hit 1:06pm, I fealt it was time for a call. Response from the gentleman, we have been so busy and have had thousands of dollars run thru here, we honestly didn't have a chance to call you and tell you we do not have a delivery driver today. This is the worst service I have experienced. I ordered a sandwich for delivery and after an hour went by I decided to call. The man over the phone proceeded to tell me that my online order came in just as there delivery man left with 4 order. Then I get a notification 5 minutes after the phone call that my order was out for delivery...another HOUR goes by! The delivery driver calls me because he's lost. When he finally finds my house he proceeds to tell me he couldn't read my address because he just got EYE surgery and can't see 20/20 yet.....WTF!? How they have someone who just had eye surgery driving around with deliveries is beyond me. My sandwich sat out for two hours so I ended up throwing it away. I wish I would have read the reviews for this location before stopping here. How horrible! But at least the bathroom was clean for my young son to use. If you ask for no lettuce, you should receive no lettuce, not your sandwich without tomato and enough lettuce to make a salad. Also, I don't ever remember it being so expensive for a sub and a drink. How does a sandwich shop plan on making sandwiches for people when they don't even respond to your drive-through. After attempting the drive-through multiple times now with no answer I decided to call the shop to see if they were even open. Shocker, they most definitely are they just don't feel like answering their drive-through window for customers. This is the second day in a row of this happening. What's even worse, is when you place an order through the phone for anything greater than a single sandwich they clearly don't know how to handle it. We ordered a box of subs with only two options and lo and behold they managed to mess up both and give us completely different sandwiches. I didn't think a sandwich shop could suck so bad. $50 box of sandwiches completely gone to waste because people were allergic to the contents of the sandwiches they did give us. read more

Updating my review: This is a pretty solid location just severely short staffed. My food is always made correctly and ready when I get to the window or when they finally deliver it. The main issue is just slow delivery and long waits at the drive thru. Both are completely out of their control as they only have the same 2 people working all the time. I will definitely still come here and support them often, I just have to make sure to prepare myself for a longer wait when I go. My suggestions: Order delivery way in advance or get there around 11 or after 1pm. Otherwise be prepared to wait a minute. Don't get mad at them, they are trying their best! I came here because I LOVE jimmy johns. My experience was awful. Where do I begin. First off it's Saturday at 2 so not that busy of a time. When I walked in there was a full line in the drive thru and no one inside. We proceeded to wait 23 minutes for our sandwiches and when we got them they were literally just thrown together. The phone was ringing off the hook but the manager said to another employee that "we are too busy to take phone orders" then while I was waiting for my sandwich the manager was yelling at the employees saying " we are over an hour late on some deliveries!" I ordered delivery from here before and it's been sort of fast.. but today, I waited an hour for my food. I called the restaurant, and whoever answered used a bad tone with me. I asked about my food and they gave me very short answers. On a Saturday, they only have one delivery driver working. I just don't think they should promote "freaky fast delivery" when I don't think I've ever had a fast delivery from this company. I ordered and tried to use a gift card. The employees took about 10 minutes to figure out that I could not use the card because they said it had not been activated. I am okay with it not being activated and not using it. What was annoying about the experience: Not once did anyone apologize for making me wait. A cold 8" sub with chips and a coke was $11.83. Jimmy John's on Sashabaw is the worst delivery place in Michigan. I ordered a sub and chips at 10:47 a.m. My sub never came. The first time I called to ask if my food was coming the woman answered and said it should be already delivered. I told her it didn't come in this delivery and should be in the next one. The delivery guy never came back. I called Jimmy John's and no one answered the phone. I let my phone ring until it was disconnected after three minutes of ringing. I know two other people who also ordered subs today and did not receive their subs. The only refund I got when I went to jimmy john's was a cookie. That was suppose to be my lunch. Within this time I ordered a pizza from Hungry Howie's and it came in twenty minutes. Thank god for Hungry Howie's freaky fast delivery or I would have had no lunch. read more

Most of the time they don't have back up employees employees that don't show up at all or on time, so give them a bit of a break. Also if you had a driver who had red hair, I am sorry about what you experienced with him. feel free to ask for a different driver or order before 3pm monday- wednesday. There's also a very slow driver who works there and it takes over 15 min on an order. overall don't order 6+ sandwiches in the drive thru, be patient when they say I'll be with you in a moment, and call 24 hrs in advance for catering so they can make enough bread if you have a big catering order. read more

I have eaten at this location numerous times then I quit going because they always seemed to mess something up or leave something out of my order. I went through their drive through on May 16, 2018. I ordered two turkey sandwiches, one on a roll and one on wheat bread. Both were made exactly as ordered. The best part was the super fresh and delicious bread and roll. The bun (roll) was super fresh as was the wheat bread. My entire order was correct, and my chocolate chunk cookie was even fresh. First, let me start by saying that as an employee of the high school, it's been incredibly convenient to be able to quickly order online while my class is still in session so that my food is ready and waiting for me when I go on my very short lunch break. I've done this many, many times over the past couple of years without a problem. I pay with my card online, the attendant at the door of the high school signs my slip, and I pick up my food when my break begins. HOWEVER - my last experience was so dreadful that I will not be a returning customer. I ordered my food exactly the same way I always do, and it never came. The driver who did come with a bunch of orders said that there was another delivery on the way. Still no sandwich. When I was able to call to investigate (2 hours after the order was placed), I spoke with the manager who claimed no one was at the door to take the order and that they'd called my phone 5 times and no one answered (because I was in class). So they left. I told them that I'd done this a number of times and never had a problem and that there's always someone at the front door. There has to be for legal reasons. The note on my order even said to use the main entrance and leave with attendant. After I explained this, the MANAGER said to me, "I don't know what to tell you" and then started making a bunch of excuses and continuing to blame me. So, I asked him to refund my card since I'd already paid online, to which he replied, "I'll try." You'll TRY to refund my card? I explained to him that I had ordered food that I did not receive, so I either wanted what I paid for, or I wanted my money back. He THEN proceeded to tell me to "not get snippy." I worked in the restaurant industry for years - even at a Jimmy John's location while in college - and I've never experienced such rude treatment. I soon found out that many staff members at CHS have been having very poor service since the store has been under new management. DO NOT risk it.
