Wendy's has the worst breakfast of any fast food establishment. I have given them a few tries and it has been horrible every time. This morning I visited the Sashabaw Road location and ordered a maple bacon chicken croissant, sausage egg and cheese burrito and a large Diet Coke. I ordered the maple bacon chicken croissant without the maple sauce and with the swiss spread/sauce. When I opened the sandwich wrapper there was no sauce at all and a tiny overcooked old chicken patty - the bacon was old and hard too. Not good at all. The sausage egg and cheese burrito has 2 tiny pieces of sausage - maybe it should be an egg burrito with a hint of sausage? Anyway, this thing was COLD! The eggs were ice cold - the cheese was cold. This burrito did not look anything like the photo. The Diet Coke was the only good thing I had for breakfast this morning. I am not sure if it was the cold burrito or old chicken, but I ended up feeling sick on my way to work after eating that. I will not make the mistake of having Wendy's breakfast again! read more

I have been rediscovering Wendy's restaurants lately. We have established our preferences in the fast food empire: hamburger is Whopper by Burger King; Fish Sandwich is Arby's; breakfast or quick stop is McDonald's; chicken we haven't really established. We also love coupons because we feel like we're getting deals! We regularly get coupons from Burger King, Wendy's, and Arby's; McDonald's App is pretty much equivalent to the coupons. But for some reason, we haven't been to a Wendy's for a while. We recently were in the mood for a good chicken sandwich but most of them are deep fried, which we like but are trying to cut back on fried foods. When I pointed out that Wendy's Buy One Get One Free Chicken Sandwiches include a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, we were on board and shortly after we stopped at a Wendy's and had one. Now, less than a week later we are ready for another one at this Wendy's location. We ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwiches using the Buy One Get One Free coupon. The order came up quickly and we sat down to eat. It was hot, on a grainy bun, covered with leafy greens, and light sauce as we had requested. I think we have found our go to Chicken Sandwich! This Wendy's location was under some construction or remodeling but still open for business. For all the work that was happening, the place was clean in the dining area and restrooms. The staff was friendly and quickly too our order when we arrived. I would stop here again if I am in the area. read more

This Wendy's is the worst Wendy's I've been to. The workers were extremely rude and the food took forever to get. When I got the food I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and it wasn't spicy. The chicken looked like a nugget on a soggy bun. And they didn't give me a spoon or straw and didn't give me any sauce. I also ordered some nuggets and there was a bite out of one of them. My brother ordered a decaf coffee for my mom who is on several heart medications and can't have caffeine. When they handed him the coffee he even specified, asking if it's decaf and they said yes. I eat fast food once or twice a year. Wendy's is usually where I will order from. Went to this location after a concert, at 10:55 they were no longer accepting orders. I understand it sucks getting those last minute orders but you are still open. My order would have taken less than five minutes. Walked in on Saturday, just after noon. The place is almost empty. Nobody at the counter. My wife and I stood about 6 feet from the counter, considering our options from the menu for about a minute. Then I belly up to the counter and smile at a woman whose talking and laughing hysterically, fidgeting with french fry containers. She ignores me. Whoever she's talking to is out of site, by the drive through window. Clearly that person is not focused on any customers either. A young man appears from the back of the store. We make eye contact. He looks away and walks on by. I stand there for another solid ten seconds before I think to myself, "Do I really want these people preparing my food?" I turn to my wife and say, "Let's go." "That's so bad," my wife says as we walk out the door. ... Five minutes later, we're half a mile up the road, at Culvers. It's busy. I'm not even through the door before a pretty young woman at the counter says "Hi, welcome to Culvers." read more

Went to this Wendy's a couple of days ago. Service was terrible. They had 6 people behind the counter all grouped up by the fryers talking complaining about how the person in front of us wanted their food prepped. Meanwhile we were sitting there waiting over 5 minutes for someone to take our order. I made a comment about how slow this place was and that out of all the staff they had back there not one of them seem to be working. The manager must of heard me because she walked up to the register and said "Sorry for the wait". She was very friendly and nice and took our order promptly. Note: The two people that were working the registers prior did not bother to take our order so I commend the manager on doing he job and how she stepped in and took charge. Wendy's can thank her for the three star rating as I was going to give this a 2 star experience. What I would recommend to this Wendys is basically to get rid of 5 of the 6 staff members that were behind that counter on 12/29/2017 as they really didn't do anything that day other than going on a rant and a boring one if that, on how the customers order their food! read more

Caution: Door and window states drive-thru open until 1:00am, however, this Wendy's routinely (not all the time, just, mostly) shuts off outside lights, Sign, & menu lights sometimes up to 20 - 30 minutes early, to make it appear as if they"re closed. Presumably, this is done so restaurant staff can clean up sooner so they can go home sooner. Would recommend McD's across the street open 24hrs. I myself am afraid to bring it up personally at the drive-thru window as afraid food might be "tampered" with in retaliation for grill to be unclean!!! I love Wendys. I will never go to this one again. Food scraps in the dumpster are probably better then the food this wendys serves out. Trust me it's not one occasion, i've been there many times, giving benefit of the doubt. Though I will say the people who work the register are mostly very friendly. I usually get Dr Pepper and its always got a weird gross taste. The spicy chicken nuggets are usually hard, chewy and cold. Don't get me started on the fries. I've gotten my fries cold every time and they taste stale like they have been sitting out all day. They are always extremely salty and either hard & difficult to bite or mushy & taste like dirty grease.
