This sandwich has strong private equity energy. Jimmy John's has somehow engineered a sandwich that feels both overstuffed and empty at the same time. This thing is approximately 70% shredded lettuce, 20% air, and 10% actual ingredients trying desperately to justify the price tag. The bread has the structural integrity of a pharmacy receipt. One bite in, the fillings evacuate the sandwich like they've received a fire alarm. The tomato is thick enough to destabilize the entire build, while the paper-thin ham folds itself into damp little ribbons that disappear under an avalanche of lettuce. And the lettuce. Endless, joyless, industrial lettuce. Not crisp garden freshness -- just pale green insulation material occupying valuable real estate where flavor should be. The cheese appears to have been added under protest. Jimmy John's markets "freaky fast" because lingering near the sandwich long enough to evaluate it objectively would be catastrophic for business. Overpriced. Stopped today for lunch while on a road trip. $30 for two regular sized sandwiches, drinks & chips. When ordering they said their drink machine was broken, and offered bottled drinks. I said OK. $4.09 for a bottle of coke?!?!? $12.76 for two bags of chips and two bottles of coke. This isn't an NFL stadium... it's Morganton, NC. Good grief. Food is good, but not worth the money. I used to love this Jimmy John's location but recently I have been very disappointed. A few weeks ago I picked up a sandwich in the drive-through, once I got home the sandwich was completely wrong, but the receipt was correct. I called back to the store and was given a credit on my account. When I returned to use that credit, I was told that it could not be found. This week I picked up a sandwich for lunch, and the middle of my sandwich was icy, almost frozen. Not sure what has happened, but this location has gone downhill. read more

Um... I don't even know where to start. This is the first time me and my mom have ever been to Jimmy John's and I'm sure there will be no revisits after this very weird experience. We order our sandwiches and are told that we can discuss toppings "later" and when we go to order drinks, all they had was tea which would have been fine, but after we payed for our drinks, we realize the ice machine is broken and all they have is unsweetened poison. The guy that was making our sandwich wasn't wearing any gloves and didn't ask us what we wanted on our sandwiches, so he put lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on both of our sandwiches. One of which was an Italian sub. There were signs on the wall that were just strange "No spitting!" And "have your wedding reception at jimmy johns". Don't. Most unclean Jimmy John's I've visited. Women's restroom had a dirty sink, a mold ring inside the toilet, and a glob of hair matted into the drip from the soap dispenser. The staff wore the usual gloves...but don't seem to understand the principle for gloves to keep food sanitary. Example:. staff answered the phone with gloves on and engaged with the computer order screen. Did not change her gloves after using the presumably dirty phone. read more

We were charged twice for our order and after a week of contacting customer service online and speaking to the employees in-store, we have yet to receive any compensation or even just a simple apology from management for the hassle and lack of concern. $50 for two fast food sandwiches is ridiculous, at least in my opinion. read more

Ordered food online they got our order completely wrong and left off items that were supposed to be on our subs via the menu didn't receive our chips or cookies and this was a delivery. Also had to wait over an hour on our food to be delivered which caused our food to be soggy and gross. Called them and they apologized and told us they would write our name down to come get food next time and it would be free. Well we went today to do that and they got our food completely wrong AGAIN. This time we luckily went in person so we went back inside. I'm not a Karen and never leave bad reviews but when they leave off items that were apart of the menu not customized and the only thing we asked of them was no cheese and they couldn't get that right I'm very frustrated. Also charging us for a pickle we didn't order and making us pay for that item even with the free meal. I like Jimmy John's but this specific one is not recommended by me. I understand mistakes but when it happens every single time and on the receipt it is correct it is very annoying. NOT freaky fast when they have to remake it. Then tell me they don't have avacado spread after they took it back the second time why would they not inform me of that when ordering the first time when I ordered on the phone! NEVER will I eat here again and instead of them remaking my sandwich they picked the cheese off and handed it back to me. I could have done that shit! I was driving on i-40 west, slightly hungover, and had an undying craving for Jimmy John's. Luckily this one was about 5 minutes off of exit 105. In typical Jimmy John's fashion the staff was super friendly and freaky fast. My sub was delicious and the pickle was even better. They even have a drive thru! read more

Always fast, incredibly courteous staff. Like all Jimmy Johns, you should note that they have a limited delivery range to keep their delivery time short. Food is always correct and delicious. The restaurant itself is always super clean and well stocked. I have a little one and the staff never flinches at him making his typical toddler food mess. This JJs also has a drive through which is awesome. The managers are helpful and nice; the staff members seem to like their job which is always a great sign for a food joint. I know this is a chain, but it is also locally owned. Good service, good Jimmy Johns food, good platters for parties and way better quality than other "fresh" sub spots. read more

The absolute BEST sub you can find around Morganton. Have tried most of them and I have to say this sub was just as good as the Italian deli we used in Northern NJ/NY. Great service and quick delivery to our company. It was terrific. Looking forward to ordering weekly. read more
