I've been at the hospital for the past three consecutive days while my grandmother has been fighting cancer. One of the closest places to grab something to eat has been this Jimmy John's, and every day I've walked in, Emma has been there. She has made my sandwich each time, and what might seem like a simple interaction to someone else has honestly meant so much to me during a very challenging few days. I have a tomato allergy, and Emma has been consistently attentive to my order and my needs. What really stood out to me was that she remembered my order from the previous days. Walking in and having someone recognize you, remember what you need, greet you with a smile, and simply show genuine kindness can provide a much-needed moment of normalcy when life feels anything but normal. On top of that, the sandwich has been consistently fresh, well-prepared, and exactly what I ordered every single time. That kind of consistency matters, especially when you're exhausted, stressed, and spending your days at a hospital. Emma may not realize it, but her kindness, professionalism, and consistency have given me a few small moments of appreciation and a reason to smile during an otherwise incredibly difficult time. Definitely my 1st Choice for sandwich delivery in S'boro. Sandwiches are ALWAYS tasty & accurately made to match the order. Delivery is ALWAYS FAST & friendly. ... Sandwiches are not what you'd call "cheap", BUT you do get a pretty decent weight of meats/cheese & other fixings for the money, so they are a decent value. AND you can order delivery via their app & avoid the excessive fees & price markups that can often RUIN the DoorDash or UberEats ordering experience. PLUS if you sign up for the JJJ app they will send you special offers & rewards, which makes the price paid very reasonable. The "Favorites" sandwiches are my usual choice, & the wheat bread is almost always my choice. ... My ONLY real complaint with JJJ's is that they no longer offer sprouts as an alternative to lettuce. The sandwiches with sprouts were pretty awesome!! I do miss that. (...I'm assuming the discontinuation was either due to the price of sprouts, perhaps the shelf-life, or perhaps a food illness (...E-coli? or other farm-source illness?) issue or concern.) .... A couple of suggestions would be for them to offer sides in a larger container (4x) option, & to offer a discounted price for ordering multiple sides. Very upsetting customer service . I placed an order on the phone, the customer service girl repeated my credit card number, then got upset because it declined, and she yelled at me on the phone its declined.-- she did not take the correct credit card number, it was her error, she is is blaming me. She said the next time you order, you better have the credit card number correct. The food is good on the other hand. Customer service at this Statesboro jimmy johns is not good at all. they don't respect the customer, and I paid at least hundreds of dollars of orders there. If I spoke to the manager and criticized the girl who took my order , the manager would just say, well just repeat the credit card number again. Placed an order at 12:35 in the afternoon. I was expecting it to take a bit longer since it was the lunch hour rush. I called at 1:20 to ask if it was getting close to being delivered. The manager told me they were out of turkey and that i should re-order a different sandwich. They could have called rather than making me wait that long. So I re-order a different sandwich at 1:25 and waited 20 minutes and asked again if it was close and they said they were waiting for a driver. The last two time I have been there as a walk-in counter customer I was told that they were working on a large catering order and that unless my order was a call in or delivery that I could not place my order. Here it is 1:30am and I just got a totally tuna and a slim Italian, the sandwich kind lol. I live 1 minute away from this jimmy johns location and I have been ordering from them for close to 7 years. They are reliable. I've gotten all types of things from this location and they only forgotten chips once. And came back to bring it. Their sandwiches are always tasty and the bread is fresh by my taste.. staff follows directions on online ordering. They also give out free sandwiches on campus and at the bars and other public places too. Extra points in that. This may be the only jimmy johns I ever had. I feel they represent the company well. The delivery drivers are cool college kids. The store has a good lobby. It's not freaky fast like branded, but 15-25min is a good time for their delivery. No matter .3miles or 3 miles. When pizza would take too long, jimmy johns suffice. Tasty sandwiches, kettle chips, and can customize with a bunch of freebies. This jimmy Johns location does well for the community and statesboro. We rolled into Statesboro right at dinner time, however didn't feel like going out to a sit restaurant. We also were looking for something other than pizza. Neither of us had ever tried Jimmy Johns before and we both were hesitant because we had thought it was expensive. Wow, were were incredibly surprised! We were impressed from the get-go on the cleanliness and fast service. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful when ordering . We ended up getting 4 subs and the entire order was a little less than $25! You can't beat that! I think what impressed me the most was the "slim menu ". My son only likes ham and cheese. Nothing else on the sub. At other locations, we pay a ton more.... and we omit half the items that are included. At Jimmy Johns, the Slim Menu is your basic plain sub...nothing on it. I ordered a sandwich at 7:20 which they said was delivered at 8:35, which it was not. I called for the second time and spoke to the manager who told me they would have another one out in a few minutes. My sandwich wasn't delivered until 10:35. My roommate placed an order around 9:30 and his sandwich was delivered with mine. This is ridiculous. I spoke to the manager 3 times and he never offered me a discount, a cookie, a side of ranch. I am always a fan of Jimmy John's, some of the best sandwiches around! I know they're a little more expensive but I have literally seen them shaving lettuce, slicing cucumbers, and meat etc. Also if something is made wrong they will remake the sandwich at no charge. When I typically order Jimmy Johns for delivery, they really do live up to the phrase "freaky fast". Not anymore apparently. I made my order at 8:44 pm on a Friday night. Hoping I could eat and relax before I had to be at work at 10:45pm. I assumed it would probably be busy so I didn't really mind too much of a wait. I said to myself, "ehh. It may be 30 minutes tops". I was wrong. After checking my order after 20 minutes, I noticed my sandwiches still had not left the store. I called and asked if there had been a mistake, maybe they didn't see my order, or maybe my payment didn't go through. The guy said it had and was ready to go... but they only had ONE driver.. on a Friday night. Are you serious? At 9:11 it went out for delivery.. an hour since I made my order and it still has not arrived. And I only live 2.3 miles away, so it's not like they have to drive very far. Plus it was only three sandwiches, two chips and two drinks. When my food arrived over an hour late, my drink was watered down, my food was getting soggy and it was pretty much gross. SLOW! Sent in my online delivery at 9, it is now 10:15 and I have not received it. We called at 10 to see where it was and she said it just left, the store is 5 minutes away... ALSO, messed up on the address (my fault) and called at 9:30 to let them know and make sure it didn't get delivered to the wrong place and they said they'd call when they get to the apartment complex. Extremely fast delivery. I have ordered delivery a dozen times. The one time they took more than 20 minutes they gave me a free sub coupon.

I used to love Jimmy John's. Delivery is ALWAYS fast, and prices used to be reasonable. For delivery, giant clubs are up from once $5.25, to $6.25 to $6.50 and now (hold your breath).... $7.50!!!! FOR a single club sandwich. They're really milking this horse dry. Since it's a small college town, students without transportation will probably go for it. Not me, I'M OUT!!
