Should've read the reviews before coming here. I had a good experience once in the past, but I guess I got lucky. I ordered from here today and this is what I was given a insultingly small amount of wilted lettuce and nothing else as a $4.19 "side salad." When I tried to get a refund, the cashier did genuinely apologize, but explained that she was not allowed to give refunds. She said I could write down my name and phone number so the manager could call me, which I did. She also printed out a receipt for me, as I had not been asked if I wanted one when I ordered and wasn't given one. In addition, two of the others employees seemed to be trying to do anything except their job. There were also people outside the building screaming at each other about calling the cops (not the workers' or business's fault, but still didn't exactly improve the whole situation). At least the sandwich was good. I will update if the manager calls. Either way, definitely will not be coming back here. EDIT: Two weeks and several phone calls later, the manager finally responded and gave me a refund. She was apologetic about it. Updated from 1 to 2 stars. read more

firehouse in statesboro ga sucks it doesn't matter what day of the week u come in this place the service sucks and the employees are new. Firehouse Sub in Statesboro Georgia is terrible you can go to any Firehouse Sub restaurants anywhere in Georgia and probably get a better results of food being good but in Statesboro they're slacking and charging too much for a small sub sandwich I got one one time it it was worth $25 for a small sandwich a kid can make it read more

Ordered 2 sandwiches (BOGO promotion) via UberEats. Order arrived quickly. UberEats delivery was fast & courteous. Sandwiches were very disappointing. ...quantity of meats & cheese & other items was extremely scarce. & both sandwich rolls were soggy wet for a good 3/4" along one side (due to being packaged w sandwiches tipped sideways & no provision for absorption of excess moisture. (note: sandwiches were ordered with no lettuce & only mayonnaise as a dressing, so shouldn't have been soggy.) I ended up cutting off the soggy part of the roll, & putting the toppings from both sandwiches into 1 in order to make 1 half-way-decent sandwich. Order total (w delivery & tip was approx $18.50. What I received was NOT worth half of that! As a comparison, I could have ordered a Jimmy John's Favorites sandwich with a brownie or cookie for about $13.50 (total w delivery & tip). & the Jimmy John's sandwich would have had 2x the meat & contents that I got from my combined 2 sandwiches from Firehouse. AND I could have gotten the JJJ sandwich on wheat bread. ... In short, not worth the money. BOGO special was no deal. & I will NOT be ordering from here again. read more

Ive been going here for ever it would seem. Their roast beef and cheese subs, with grilled onions and mushrooms, are always just what i want. My sons love it too. In fact, my middle son is addicted to their sweet and spicy meatball subs. He says theres nothing like it anywhere else!! The bottom line, for years this place has been our go-to sub shop. We usually avoid the sub shops and their kin, but a friend suggested we give this a try when we were looking for a sandwich for dinner. We've tried it twice now, and we like it and recommend. The subs are freshly made, there are lots of ingredients, the staff is extra friendly and accommodating and the prices are reasonable. Let's don't make more of if than there is--this is a sub shop, but it's one of the better ones we've been around in this part of the state. read more

Love this place! The subs are delicious and truly different from places like Subway or Blimpie. I also love the selection of hot sauces you can add to your sub. The staff is friendly and service is fairly quick. It can be a little expensive, but it is delicious and filling. Be sure to try the cherry limeade using real lime slices! read more

Favorite place to eat In Statesboro. Crew is friendly and the manager knows how to run the place. I'm in there so much they know me by my name and know what I want before I order. Super clean and always has an excellent health department score. read more
