Being from NYC, we didn't know much about the Poconos and Stroudsburg. After some deep, and I am talking DEEP, Google, Knot, Yelp stalking, we kept coming back to these photos taken at our venue of choice by Elle Studios. We stalked her website, Instagram and Facebook and we knew we had to have her. We set up a FaceTime call and knew we made the right choice. Fast forward to September for our engagement photos, Emily made it incredibly easy by picking a beautiful spot in Wind Gap, and walking us through the entire shoot. We felt so comfortable and grateful to have a connection with her; we knew she was there with us but also didn't feel like she was there. Neither of us have previously taken part in any professional photo shoots so we were worried we would feel awkward and uncomfortable, but that was not the case. Everything is retouched so all of the proofs are perfect and they are hosted on a website called pictage for a year for your friends and family to order from. She also creates an amazing artistic album from the images you choose. We have a ton of our wedding pictures throughout our house and even a 20x30. It is the most amazing art that we have in our house and we can cherish it forever. She captured the day so perfectly we don't even watch our videographers DVD's we just look at our album to remember the day. Her photography is not just for weddings. Alison was professional and polite all throughout the planning process for our engagement photos (which came out so well they were featured in The Knot magazine's Fall/Winter 2016 edition), and for our wedding night. In person, Alison has a fun, informal style so our photos weren't forced or posed, and she caught our candid moments with each other and with our friends and family. In addition to being fun and easy to work with, she and Geoff both put in a lot of hard work that my wife and I greatly appreciated. On the day of our engagement photos, when we were already shooting just after sunrise, Alison had driven nearly an hour to get to us and arrived over an hour early!
