Had breakfast here this morning. Had a basic breakfast breakfast and it was exactly as expected. The wait staff was prompt and helpful. My problem is with masks. While all the staff had masks on their head only the host and one waitress were covering their nose and mouth. All others had noses fully uncovered except for one person in the kitchen who (seriously - I have pics) only covered his chin. So 5 stars for food and service and 4 demerits for the disdain for customer's health. I won't be returning at least till I can feel safe there. read more

I've had several family members go here for breakfast and have given rave reviews. My husband and I went in for lunch this week. I had a cheese burger and he had the Californina Club. The hamburger meat was a hand pressed hamburger patty with rough edges. The meat was excellent. Nothing preformed and frozen here. An excellent Cheeseburger and I will have again. Love, Love, Love. I'm very picky about my breakfast joints and this one ticked all the boxes. Pleasant and courteous staff, clean, and kept the coffee filled. Eggs Benedict is my favorite breakfast and Jimmy's makes a very good version. I was skeptical at first because they use shaved ham for the Benedict, where as in New England they use Canadian bacon, but it was phenomenal. This place is a good breakfast place in Midland, TX. They have a variety of breakfast choices. The 2 meats and 2 eggs option was delish. The bacon was nice and crispy. The hash brown were also toasted nice. The biscuits and gravy that came with my meal were buttery good. The service was beyond what we expected. The lady who served us was nice and welcoming. Overall a great experience. That is pretty hard to find in Midland, TX. Jimmys Egg will be a spot for us from now on. read more

We'd give 3.5 stars if that was an option. Service and ambiance was great. Nice addition to Midland. The coffee was just ok, nothing special. We appreciated that they had a good kids menu and a variety of options on the adult menu. The food was basic diner fare but still good. A little pricey but so is everything in Midland. read more

We have seen this place so many times during our frequent trips to Midland & we finally had time to stop in. My only regret is that we didn't try it sooner! I was skeptical about ordering the Pot Roast Benedict because I'm very picky about my bennies, but it was outstanding! Probably the best I've ever had. The iced coffee was way too sweet for my taste, but I like it super strong so it's probably just me. When I asked the waitress to add some extra coffee to counteract the sweetness she did so quickly & didn't make it feel like an inconvenience at all. Terrible DoorDash experience with Jimmy's Egg. Ordered breakfast to be door dashed to our hotel. Along with our meal, we ordered two coffees, which didn't get delivered. Next, there was no silverware with the meals. Maybe some people get DoorDash to their homes, but come on man, for those of us in a hotel, party pack silverware isn't that hard/expensive. Now about the food (once I had gone down to the lobby to get silverware), the only reason I don't give one star is that the omelets we ordered were decent. But that's as far as the good goes. Ordered a side of cottage cheese, and with one bite realized it was bad, like way past expiration. My omelet came with hollandaise sauce which could only be described as congealed gunge. We just got seated for breakfast when a small child started screaming right behind us. We were discussing leaving when a waitress from across the restaurant saw us and came over and asked us if we would like to move. Open two weeks and everything was very good. They have a large menu of traditional breakfasts, omelettes, skillets, Benedicts, and even lunch options of sandwiches, salads, and burgers. Probably the best bacon in town and plenty of hot coffee. Great service. Very glad to have this place open in Midland. read more

We stopped in for breakfast and man were we blown away! The food was amazing, we had the corned beef hash and were very happy. It had huge chunks of meat and they make it in house. Our waitress Sandy had the best attitude, she was funny and made sure we didn't need anything. Service sucked. Our server was less than attentive and asking other servers did not help either. Food was so so. I have to say i have had eggs better elsewhere. When you order over medium and the yolk comes out like a brick, not good but when your server dropped off your food and did not check back as to how it was meant you are your toast, bacon and grits and pay for bad eggs. read more
