After waiting 1 hour from schedule time driver arrived and refused to take to the most important Oncology appointment. I call this cab company Monday through Friday for work; often, the service is acceptable. This morning, I called @ 5:50am; it's now 8:17am...NO CAB and I'm EXTREMELY LATE FOR WORK!! This is about the 4th time this has happened. On one of my several call backs, the dispatcher finally said that their electronic system is down and the drivers aren't getting the calls!! A Jimmy's Can driver drove straight through the barricades of our parking lot. The lot had just been paved and the driver was very dismissive when residents told her she couldn't drive on the new pavement. There is now tire marks on the fresh pavement. My ride was set up for 6 AM this morning. At 630 no cab so I called a Uber. Ride was ordered to pick me up at 230 pm. At 330 I called an emergency net after I was left standing in rain for an hour. This was one of the best cab companies, on 8/9/24 I called several times for a cab, there's a language barrier do not know where they're located at, but they do not understand the address the name of the streets you have to repeat yourself 3 to 4 times that should not be. I was in the area for the funeral of my son, and Jimmy's was not only late, the driver was yelling at someone on the phone and becoming irate at traffic, leaning on the horn and on a video call with someone. I thought I would give them one more try and they never even showed up, I had called in the morning hours earlier to make a reservation. I wouldn't have been so upset except that I was distraught over the loss of my son and I would never recommend Jimmy's. I realize they are on Yelp top 10 and maybe great for downtown Baltimore, but Catonsville isn't that far away, I didn't have a lot of choices or support for getting to places and this was unacceptable. Never again! Car broke down Saturday night. Used the service on Sunday, to get sundrys. Gave the driver a 30 percent tip. When I called on Monday morning to coordinate pick up of my vehicle, I was asked if I wanted to pay first? Very strange. The cab never showed up, and I had to ask a stranger for a ride, to get my vehicle, while the tow truck operator waited for me for 20 minutes. I will never use this service again. 0 stars. read more

For the 2nd time the cab did not show up on time and I had to find an alternate ride. I used to use Valley Cab and they were always early for pickup. Since the merger with Jimmy's I've had 3 occasions where I needed a cab. Once they were on time and provided good service but another time they never showed up and after waiting more than 1/2 hour after the appointed time (reserved a day in advance) they were still "looking for a cab to send." That happened again yesterday. I had made a reservation for a cab at 6 am to go to BWI and by the appointed time they did not show up. I was very fortunate in that my wife was available to take me but this level of service is unacceptable. read more

I have never experienced such a rude and horrible driver in all my life and I'm 75. The driver WATCHED a "polo" game on his phone the entire drive to my destination. Talk about districted driving (I was a nervous wreck)!!! At one point he pulled the cab over to the shoulder to clap & cheer his team. When I asked what was he doing he screamed at me and said "I don't care I'm going to do this!!". He also yelled at me and asked if I wanted to be taken back to my starting point and get another cab. He was as obnoxious as you can get. Don't plan to ever use them again. read more

I didn't use their service nor would I ever with the idiot (vehicle number 1217) that was behind me this morning on 695. He started tailgating me (that's reckless endangerment, by the way). I eventually let the moron pass me when we got off the exit so I could take a picture of the car. He was doing at least 50mph in a 30 mph zone. If the invalid doesn't get fired I will turn over my dash cam and rear cam footage to law enforcement. They don't have a real website; just a Facebook page which means they probably have a free email account. read more

One of the worst cab company experiences I've had. They are not reliable for pre-scheduled trips. Called the night before for a 6:45 AM pick-up to catch a train for business travel. Dispatcher took my information down and said everything is taken care of. When the cab didn't show up five minutes past the pick-up time, I called the dispatcher (a different one picks up). She asks me for my addresses, but gets it wrong several times (didn't seem to care too much). Once she had my address she said, "no one has picked up your ticket." I replied "...what does that mean?" And she said "well there's no cab that is on it's way." I told her that I specifically reserved ahead of time and she said that it was out of their hands at that point and up to the taxi drivers to pick up the ticket. When I asked when I should expect the taxi, she said I can go ahead and call another taxi company. For all the times I've taken a taxi, I've never experienced something like this before. I'll certainly not be giving this company a call back again. read more

These cabs take way longer than I ever remember from the past. One hour and 2 phone calls later, I'm still waiting. Also, the first guy I spoke to was nice. But the second lady was not. Do you really need to immediately hang up on people? Not only was I calling to find out where my cab was after waiting for so long, but I also wanted to know if there would be any issues with me having a baby in a carseat. Too bad I didn't get the chance to ask because I was immediately hung up on. What if I was taking this cab to work? You need to be alot more reliable and respectful. read more

When you call a cab company, there are literally 2 things you expect from their service...timeliness and a fair rate. Jimmy's fails to deliver time and time again and maybe it's my fault for giving them so many opportunities. The most recent example was Thanksgiving Day. I called the night before for a cab at 7:45 am. Figured I'd be on top of things and not wait til the last minute. I call at 7:30am to make sure there was a cab on the way and after 5 minutes of waiting, a woman informs me that she'll "work on it", and abruptly hangs up. 8:15 rolls around, and still no one. I call again and a guy answers. I tell him my phone and address and he says "we're still working on it" and abruptly hangs up without even letting me ask when I should expect them. When they got to my house at 8:45, and finally got me to the airport, a half hour before my flight, he asked for $30. It is a 7 minute trip and should have been 15 dollars max. All in all, if you are good with accepting failure and disappointment, roll with Jimmy's. Otherwise, I'd probably use Baltimore MTA busses before them again. read more

This company is the worst. I am extremely happy that uber is around. First of all no one at the call center picks up the phone. I experienced instances where I have been on the phone for 30 at least waiting for them to pick up. The second issue is one of the cab drivers over charged me. First of all, there aren't too many of Jimmy's cab drivers on the street! You can wait for more than an hour for a cab at 10 or 11 in the morning! Or sit and wait for an hour and a half to two hours in the middle of the afternoon at 1, 2 or 5 in the evening. And when they do finally show up, they're RUDE!!!! And UNFRIENDLY! They sometimes tend to take their bad mood out on the customer simply because they're not making enough money. How is that your fault? And a couple of them are Shisters and will try to run game on you. For instance, after indicating my destination when submitting my trip, one cab driver took it upon himself to try to coerce me into letting him take me to a destination that he had picked me up from once before, simply because it was further and would be a bigger fare. And if that wasn't ridiculous enough, he then proceeded to try to talk me into splitting my fare to pay more cash and take me to another destination. He literally changed my destination with the call representative and when I didn't go for it, he told her that I changed my mind! What a complete fabrication! One cab driver yelled at me this morning and the other two were in rotten moods as well. Then there's this one driver that lots of passengers have complained about and even other cab drivers are aware of who he is because their passengers have complained about his reckless and dangerous driving. Nevertheless, as for me, I simply wish that they employ lots of new drivers with adequate training and people skills. I wish they ran faster and were more friendlier. read more

Worst cab service I have ever had. Not only were they half an hour late picking me up (I called in advance), but the driver tried to take me a long way home so that they could run the meter longer. I was going to let all of that slide, because it's just one experience. However, I just witnessed a Jimmy's cab cross over two sets of double, solid, yellow lines to make a very illegal U-turn in the middle of East Joppa Street, with traffic coming from each side (and honking). Their drivers are constantly putting others at risk. I cannot even remember how many times I have seen Jimmy's cabs make dangerous and illegal moves/turns and cut off other drivers without so much as a turn signal or second thought. Save yourself time, money, and frustration and choose a different cab company. read more

To all my Baltimore people. never ever ever use Jimmys Cab Company. Their customer service is appalling......as in they have none. They quickly get your phone number and address then hang up. Um Ok. So, I called back because i have special instruction to get to me place. I told her they need the zip code or it takes you to the wrong place. Apparently they can only type in letters in the special instructions not numbers because she told me they cant type in the zipcode and hung up. 25 minutes rolls by....missed one train and not into missing another one I call back. Tell her the cab isn't here and as I was asking if they could give me a time she says its on its way and hung up. Fire from the pits of hell are shooting out of my ears. I call immediately back. First thing I say is " please don't hang up on me" the operator says "why would I do that. I am here to answer your questions" Ok maybe we have a human on the phone this time. "Its been 25 minutes and the cab isn't here yet. Do you know how much longer they might be?" operator: "they were dispatched 10 minutes ago and it will be another 20 minutes. Okay." me:"is there any....CLICK. HE HUNG UP!!!!!! Moral of the story. Steal your neighbors kids bike or hell hot-wheels and get to where ever you need on your own. Thank God for Uber​! read more

Worst cab service EVER!! Call Arrow or Diamond! Initially the lady said if it's not there in 20 minutes, call back, so after 25 minutes, I did. Another 35 minutes, called AGAIN. The lady was rude and was stuck on semantics about her wording in the previous call. She told me "It could take 5 minutes, 20 minutes, an hour.. TWO HOURS." Being stuck on her wording tells me that they know they are a crappy service and that they watch carefully what they say in order to not let people know they're not coming.
