I'm a membership customer and I really appreciate the convenience when the location is open--especially when I need a quick wash. That said, I really wish Take 5 Car Wash would be open more often, especially after a snowstorm. That's when cars need it most, and extended hours (or being open more consistently) would make it a lot more convenient for membership customers who rely on being able to pull up and go. Overall, I like the service--just hoping the hours/availability improve, particularly during bad weather weeks. read more

This place was great everything was working, now your lucky to get in to the place, the dryer doesn't dry, the towel roller at the end does not work, you will need to bring lots of your towel to dry off your vehicle, for the money, it's not worth it, it's a shame! Just paid $11 for a car wash and AFTER was told that "they won't let us" turn the vacuums on when I went in to ask why they weren't working. They said it was because there was "too much water on the ground..." it had sprinkled for a few minutes prior and the vacuums are under an awning... even if that's true they should have told people BEFORE they paid for services they couldn't use. They didn't offer any kind of consolation. Won't be back. read more

The quality has gone down considerably. After my wash all the trash cans were full and 1/2 the vacuums not working.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the wash is really good BUT since they switched to Take 5 the computer keeps telling me that my membership has expired and to see a manager. The last time it happened it was on the day that they did the automatic withdrawal from my checking account. It happens so often that the employee that usually helps knows me by name. Why can't they just fix the darned computer system???? read more

Convenient and quick car wash located in Elizabethtown. Prices are fairly inexpensive. The cheapest quick wash is $3 which is what I chose. The most expensive is roughly around $18. Vacuuming is free and there are plenty of spots to park and it's usually not too over crowded. My car came out clean, and streak free. Overall, if you are just looking for a Quick rinse this is a great place to come. If you're wanting a more detailed wash, this is also a place to come and partake as well. read more

Wasted 16 dollars because that was the cheapest option. Did not clean the bird poop off of my truck. When I pulled over to the free vacuum it didn't even work, barely sucked. I got so frustrated that I just left. Still have hand prints all over my tailgate. I could have done a better job at home with a water hose and scrub brush and still wouldn't have wasted 16 bucks on the water bill. Very disappointing. This wash does an amazing job getting dirt and bugs off my vehicle, I highly recommend everyone using this wash.

Wash doesn't read the RFID code half the time and if they are busy it takes a long time to get assistance. The wash doesn't dry the vehicle so unless you have time to dry it yourself at the detail center you get spots and getting vacuum that actually works is hit or miss. read more

Always loved coming here to get a wash. But the carelessness of their staff is too much now. The teenager flagging my car into a bay kept on telling me to pull straight. So I did but my car hit the side wall of the track. Now there is a giant gouge in the side of my car. Really disappointed. Not to mention this car wash is not good at getting bugs off of your car. BEWARE! Don't WASTE your MONEY. When I first joined 2 months ago, I bought the pass and everything was fine. Now, the last 4 washes left horrible water spots all over my car. It's more time consuming and painful to try to get it off then just using a self car wash. I tried to cancel my membership and this is one of those companies that just give you the run-around online, never answers the phone, and just plainly makes it extremely difficult for you cancel. I liked the previous wash stations before the wash. the new way is not effective for getting bugs off the front of your car. seems like we took a step back in the quality of service to the customer. the cleanliness of the location has taken a step back as well. I joined with 3 cars because of the conscience and quality of wash. i think we need to revisit the reason you are in business so that it is a great deal to use and have other join. been with you for three years and now I am questioning if I am staying with my 3 car memberships. thank you for your consideration of these point. read more

One of the busiest car washes in town but I'm a bit disappointed with my last visit. The wash was fine, did the basic wash since it was going to rain. I mainly needed mud and dirt off the car. Quick and easy process to pick my wash, paying was quick and simple. The prices are reasonable and the line wasn't long. Went through the car wash and everything was fine there, when it came time to vacuum out my car... there was the problem. The hose was so clogged that it wasn't picking up anything. I had to use the hose on the other side, which can reach the other side of my car so I did my best. The machine to clean off the mats was completely dirty, it was spreading dust all over whenever used it. After a couple of times of putting my mats through I took some big dirt pieces but I looked like it was just putting the dust on the mats. The trash can were full and almost overrun with trash. Let's hope my next visit they service the mat machine and clear out the hoses and take out the clogging trash. read more

I came here on an early weekday morning. No wait no other customers even here. The wash is super fast, attendees were friendly and my car looked a million times better. The free vacuum was a quick one for me because it was 20 degrees outside! Overall pleased. Expect to pay more than the $3 car wash. I purchased the $10 wash and was pleased. read more

This car wash is top notch. My truck always came out clean. As you pull in you'll see a pre-wash are you remove heavy bugs from the front of your vehicle. There are plenty of vacuums to use to get the inside just as clean. They also have a floor mat machine. Always plenty of employees around to help if needed, and equipment is well maintained. read more

For all but the quickest cheapie (3$) wash, say, on an already clean car or one with rain spots (only), this place is completely worthless. The bug wash station is usually unspeakably gross & they don't do pre-wash. Their more expensive packages do little to nothing more than their 3$ quickie does to actually get a car clean. My 10$ wash wash this AM didn't even clean my windshield, let alone the rest of the car, which had been hand cleaned early last week. "Double pressure" wash, right!?!?! Bah! Half of the "free" vacuum bays don't have enough suction to pick anything up. The only positive this place has going for it is their floor mat cleaning machine. Really. Also, fair warning: every time I stop by, their "no fault damage disclaimer" has grown significantly. read more

The first time was quick and easy, nice job on the car. Today I visited and a young lady came at me asking if I could remove my hitch, and when I said no, she replied "Then The Back Of Your Car May Not Get Clean" I'm like, okay, knowing that we didn't have any trouble the last time we came through. AND no other car wash in the city of Louisville has trouble with it... Sure enough, the back of our car was NEVER TOUCHED. I pulled away with a dirty car and I'm certain she turned something off from cleaning the back of our car. TWO THINGS! First, I've been through your car wash before and didn't have any issues! Second, no other car wash in town has trouble with our car. Lastly, because of the way your car wash attendant spoke to me today (with no explanation as to why she didn't think the rear of our car would be washed) we won't be coming back. Love this car wash. We buy the monthly package even though we actually live in Boston, we prefer the extra drive to use this car wash. The free vacuum at the end is a great value. Even if you only want the cheapest wash they offer you are still welcome to use the vacuums, I think that's really nice. The equipment is always working we've never had a bad wash . read more

This is an exceptional value if you get the monthly pass and wash your car frequently. My vehicle always comes out clean and looking great, although I do have clean a couple areas on my wheels from brake dust. The only real complaint I have is the vacuum cleaners don't have a lot of suction and have to spend extra time getting the interior clean. Also, the bug wash area with a bucket of soapy water stays extremely nasty due to the morons that clean their wheels with the bug brush. It's supposed to be used for removing bugs/insects off the windshield and front side of the vehicle. Anyhow, other than that, it's a good bang for the buck. Both Elizabethtown car washes do a really good job. I highly recommend the monthly package, it's well worth it. read more

5 stars! Not only because the wash does the job, and we get free vacuum service, and the vacs are always efficient, but also because the wonderful customer service we received today ! See, my husband and I stopped in to wash /vacuum our SUV after a whirlwind road trip to the east coast. It was very messy to say the least. A great employee -Doug- came over to chat with us and noticed I had been attempting to remove tree sap off my vehicle. Doug kindly offered to help us get it off. He successfully removed the sap, thank you Doug! He was being so kind I asked him if he was the owner! That's great customer service! What Doug didn't know was that my husband and I were cleaning out the vehicle from our last trip, just to turn around and head straight back on the road because my father-in-law suffered a heart attack yesterday, and we were headed 7 hrs north to go see him. Doug's kindness lifted our hearts. In times like these any bit helps, and he exceeded all expectations. read more
