Didn't get all money returned...even after proof of services & repairs performed in another RV Professional service dept. Untrustworthy and if safety is an issue..the safety check does not happen.. competitor had to replace CO2 sensors and fire alarms that were not in working order....how do you miss those in a safety check? read more

I put my 5th wheel on consignment with Jims Outback RV. When I went to pick up my check months later the owner informed me that I had unhooked my unit incorrectly even though their worker is the one that unhooked it. Months later after the unit was sold the owner of Jims Outback gave the new owner of the RV my personal phone number. The new owner called me and wanted to know if it was ok if he could call if he had any future problems. It is never acceptable for a business to give a clients phone number out. It's no different than having a used car sold off of a lot. Any good business would not give out the previous owners phone number. I would never recommend this company to anyone for any reason. read more

If I could give a negative review I would. I called the other day to inquire about service. First, I was on hold for a good 10 minutes, which I would not have been too troubled by if inquiry had led to good service. Eventually the mechanic "Steve" came on the line. I asked if they could change my broken airbag compressor for a new one (and easy bolt on job) he stated they did not do chassis work, but "only up inside". I then asked him if he could swap my class 3 hitch for a class 5 on my particular truck, he said, "maybe" (if that is not chassis work, I dunno what is......) I said it is a pretty simple job (I have mounted hitches on trucks, including this make and model, it is just a bolt on) He laughed at me. I hung up, I will find someone else more professional. read more

Bought a fifth wheel from this company. Less then a year later, I ask them to move it to my new house. Jim had told me when I purchased the trailer he would move it for free. His hired help told Jim he couldn't park the trailer were I had indicated. I bought the house for the fact it had RV parking. Knowing the trailer would fit I had no other choice then to hire a man who placed the trailer in the space Steve couldn't. When I decided to sell the trailer, I called Jims Outback to place it on consignment. The woman I spoke with said she would send Steve out to access the trailer. Three days passed to not have anyone come to look over the trailer. Called them back to have the woman say Steve said the trailer was in rough shape. Steve never came to my home nor did he obtain my keys to enter the trailer. These people are bald-faced liars that will take you to the cleaners. I highly suggest you take your business elsewhere. As for my trailer its in great condition. Steve didn't want to deal with me because I called him on the placement of the trailer. read more

We were on vacation and needed a roof vent replaced in our rv. Jim's RV had the vent we needed and replaced our broken one in about 10 minutes. Total charge was about $70 for parts and labor. We were very pleased with the cost and the service. read more

Brought my rv in there because the black water valve was broke and he said he would fix it. The next week I went to dump and it did not get touched so I told him to put a brand new one in and took it home and once again it was not fixed. Do not take your rv here he is a liar and a thief. read more
