I needed a replacement for our air conditioner and furnace and this is who was recommended to me by another business. I COULD NOT be happier with the installers as they were, in my strongest opinion, extremely professional, thorough, and courteous during the installation. They did a job that I have to rate PERFECT in every way. I strongly recommend Jim's Plumbing and Heating to anyone who needs such service. I have never seen nor experienced a better business to deal with and I will NEVER give them a poor rating such as what others have done. I have no idea why people would downgrade Jim's Plumbing and heating but they do a fantastic job in every way. Oh, and they also replaced our well pump a few days prior to installing our new system. Had several plumbing issues (leaking shower) and a garbage disposal not working, just humming. The shower issue was due to the installation by another company installing a seal incorrectly. It was corrected and hasn't failed. The plumber took the disposal off and said he wanted to try something before replacing it. He had brought one just in case. He wrenched the post of the disposal and something broke inside. Turns out a small bone had fallen into the disposal and was locking it up. The bone was withdrawn and the disposal worked. He could have just replaced our disposal and made more money, but chose to be of service, not taking advantage of the situation. read more

have used them in the past and have had good service. However, I called and asked for a small non emergency job to be done and I was told someone would call before they came out the next day. I waited all day and no phone call. I called them again the next day and was told he had an emergency. Okay, I understand these things happen. Not a big deal. Once again was told they would be out and would call. Again, no phone call. The phone call finally came a ful two weeks to the day after I had originally called them. Called to see if they could hook up a tankless water heater so it was covered under the warranty and they had somebody out to my house within 30 minutes! It was a small job and they were happy to do it and were very nice on the phone and in person. I'll be calling again with any plumbing needs. read more

The last experience with Jim's has not been good. I went into their office at the end of May, maybe the very beginning of June, to schedule a job. I told the ladies in the office I didn't need the work done that day but within the next 2-3 weeks. The 3 weeks came and went. I called and spoke with the company again and I was told they were busy but they had not forgotten about me and that someone would be out by the end of the week Friday. I am pretty sure I even called in a 2nd time (3 point of contact on my end). It is now Nov 1 st and they have never came out. My 1st experience was really good with this company but not this time. I am a patient person but six months out and nothing when it was supposed to be about 3 weeks. The work they have done for me was good but I am not wasting anymore time waiting because winter is approaching. read more
