They load your car on a flatbed so there's no pulling it for 20+ miles. My car was stuck at a mechanic's shop in Brownsville, and I called Jim to see if he could tow it from there back to Covington (to another mechanic's shop). The staff at Jim's Towing rocks! Aaron S. I'm sorry you feel that way. Sometimes the towing industry gets a bad reputation just because we do our jobs. The parking lot we towed your vehicle from have signs up stating "no parking after business hours" and we just happen to be the contracted company for that lot. They have issues with people hanging out and trashing the lot and leaving vehicles over night taking up parking spots from employees and customers the next business day. I didn't make the rules and I don't own the parking lot. We are just doing what the property owner asked us to do. I'm sure our drivers would rather be at home with their families or getting some sleep. Lucky for you it was towed by us. We are the only towing service that will not charge storage in situations like this and most of the other companies charge $150.00 for the tow and $30.00 per day for storage. My advice for you if it ever happens again, leave a note with the time you broke down and when you should be back.
