They arrived 15 minutes late, which wasn't really a problem. But it also took 3 hours instead of 2 so we ended up paying more than we had originally thought. The parts of the house they cleaned looked good, but they didn't clean the blinds and so we had to return the next morning and clean the blinds ourselves in order to get the safety deposit back. They also threw away the blinds in the kitchen so we had to purchase new ones out of pocket, which was a bit of an inconvenience. The cleaning service was helpful because they were able to come on such short notice, but if we were to hire them again, we would probably want to stay around to make sure everything went alright. We ended up having to have our entire ceiling painted because they could not get the color to match in the spot where it was marked up from the plastic tent that was put up. For instance, we did not know they had to paint the entire ceiling; my niece misunderstood Ramone when he said they had to come back & finish. Victor, who showed up, was very understanding & appologetic as it was a bad day sense my mother was getting ready to go out of town. Herman was always avalable when I needed to talk to him about any concerns & rescheduling; he honored our request to show up between 9-00 & 9-30 as it would give us plenty of time to get ready. Victor made sure3 all the walls & furniture were covered & painted the ceiling in a timely manner; what I was told would take all day, only took two hours. After the pandemic, I called Elite Pro Home Cleaners and tried to restart our cleaning service. I sent a text message to the office staff. No response. I called the answering service several times and left messages to restart the cleaning service and, made sure my contact information was up-to-date and correct . Out of the three times I called Elite Pro Home Cleaners, over a six-week span, I received not one response. I even called the answering service to make sure that my messages were forwarded to Elite Pro Home Cleaners and I was assured that my messages were forwarded. Obviously, they do not want my business. Even during the time when we used the service from Elite Pro Home Cleaners, we always had a problem with the office staff not returning phone calls or answering questions. I read in the reviews about other clients of Elite Pro Home Cleaner having the same problem with the office staff not being professional with their communication. So, I am not the only one. (Please read the other reviews for yourself). I thought, why should I sign up for this again when it's obviously still a problem. So now, we moved forward with a new cleaning service since Elite Pro Home Cleaners couldn't be bothered to call us back . The new cleaning service cleaning is top-notch and this includes the added expected benefit of returning telephone calls and text messages. He said to reach out if I wanted anything different to be done, so I did when I noticed my kitchen island was still dusty and dirty after the cleaning crew visited that week. They said they would let the cleaners know for next time. After the next cleaning, I came home and saw that my kitchen island was still dusty and had not been wiped down. Not only did I have to remind them to do what they were supposed to do, but they couldn't even manage to fix their mistake. Now here's where it becomes really unacceptable. Another time, I happened to be home on the day of cleaning and went to walk my dog while they were working. I saw that they had left my lockbox open with the code visible to anyone walking by. I thought it was an innocent mistake so just let it go. But the next time they came and went, they just left the lockbox hanging open with my house key inside it. I didn't even notice until the day after because I usually use my garage door to come and go. Someone could've taken my house key! That is unsafe and UNACCEPTABLE. I am a single woman living alone. The cleaners simply do not care... I have completely lost trust in them. I told them what happened and they replied with a generic apology, nothing about what they will do to solve this problem or prevent it from happening again in the future. So I would not trust them in your home.
