I came for the food, but I'll return for the staff (and the food!)! Such a lovely cafe!

Very friendly, offers breakfast, sandwich, coffee and ice cream. Not a juice and smoothie place.

I order the Maple Almond Latte which was not bad... but I wanted more maple & almond flavour. The presentation was lacking with just the cinnamon thrown on top. I guess I've been spoiled by cafes with cute little designs. Also all the flavor hangs out at the bottom... so next time I'll be sure to mix my drink before consuming. I also ordered their Mini Croissant which looked way better than it tasted. Instagram cute... flavour kinda forgettable. It had a piece of chocolate in it... The barista asked if I wanted it heated up and regrettably I declined. It would have been better to have that chocolate melted. Now the staff friendly and welcoming, which always makes any experience better. Again the atmosphere was stunning. One of the main reasons I'd come back. They have a section where they have all these big pillows. I loved that. Outside they had free 20-minute parking... the alternative was 10$ so I didn't stay very long. Overall I would recommend coming for the vibes not necessarily the specialty drinks. But to be fair I haven't tried them all. They also had pizza which looked very good and I overheard the barista say Sundays are their busiest day.

My friend and I got the Rose Garden tower and my daughter got the Peony (kid) tower. My daughter got a lemonade with her tower and it was very cute. She loved the food and the tea set. The scones with the clotted cream and jam was really good. Soft on the inside and has a nice crust to it. The other selections were great and the brownies were rich. The service was great and staffs were attentive!

You need to pay for admission into the garden though, even if you have reservations at the tea house. It's off season right now, as we booked to go when Bloomland In Oz (floral showcase) was already finishing up. The Turner Pavilion was easy to walk to - there is a pathway and tunnel you across through the garden. The tea house is absolutely gorgeous. It's a beautiful space with lots of sunlight. My friend and I ordered the Rose Garden Tower set and chose two different Sloan teas to try. Everything was perfectly divided, delicious and filling. I highly recommend this tea house! It would be beautiful in the summertime when everything is fully in bloom.

It was very slow to get servers' attention, but understandably so - they were busy and occupied with the big party and other patrons (the place was very packed). But luckily our food came out in a timely manner. Our server was friendly and helpful. The build-your-own omelettes came out perfect with all the ingredients that we wanted (all vegetables). I liked the degree of customizations and substitutions that we we were able to make (3 egg whites and 1 yolk, substituted the potatoes with side salad, had the salad dressing on the side, etc.). Portion size of each dish was perfect for each individual. Although technically the lunch menu items weren't supposed to start at 11 am, we were able to get a few sides from that menu (side steamed vegetables and big Meditteranean Salad) - glad they were able to make that accommodation.
