We had a footing for an old basketball hoop next to the driveway, which had been cut off at ground level. I also park a RV in the driveway. They had in their quote removing the old footing, and extending the driveway by 3 feet before it starts getting narrower at the end. The day they did the removal of the old driveway, I was outside to observe the process. A very professional job was done, removing the asphalt and old base, and putting down the new base. When he was done, he made sure that anything in the road was cleaned up, including bringing out an industrial blower to make sure everything was off the road. The guy on the skid steer was friendly and personable. I am familiar with asphalt paving. My father was in the business my whole life. I watched the entire paving process, and interacted with everybody on the crew. The whole process was very professional. The crew was all very friendly. At the end, our driveway looks great. The crew respected the apron in front of the garage, our new garage floor, and the yard right next to the driveway. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

If you have had siding installed from Elk River Exteriors beware. You may have been told there is…read morea warranty on it. They do not warranty due to their faulty installation. This is a complaint for siding issue that I filed with the installer July 28th of 2022 for what are called nail pops on my siding. They are visible on three sides of the house. East, West, and South. No nail pops on the North side of the house. When I contacted the installer, they told me that I needed to file a warranty claim against the maker of the siding. (I also sent Elk River exterior photos of the siding.) Elk River Exterior claimed it was a problem with the siding. So I filled out a warranty form and sent pictures to the manufacturer (PLY GEM). Also the owner of Elk River Exterior came and took pictures of the problem and sent to Ply Gem. After much time of going back and forth with the manufacture (Ply Gem) and the Installer (Elk River Exteriors), the manufacture of the siding (Ply Gem) finally sent a Technical Service Representative to inspect the siding in April. His response to the (Nail Pops) was found to be the direct result of improper installation techniques or practices. Some of the discrepancies noted but not limited to include *Nailing at end of nail slots *Nails protruding * Nails from nail hem causing heat buildup/water retention between the panel and fastener. * Nailed to tight, nails at opposite ends of nails, and /or panels that were not given proper clearance to expand as temperatures varied. Ply Gem encouraged us to contact the company that installed siding. But Elk River Exteriors still insist that it is a manufacturing issue with the siding and as of June 19th, 2023 I received a voicemail from the Owner of Elk River Exterior that they will not be correcting the issue.
