Price was reasonable so we decided to do it and get it done with Brown Roofing Co. As promised, 1 week later, a crew of guys showed up and replaced our old leaky roof with a new hand nailed roof using the dimensional shingles. Mr. Brown explained that the job was fairly large and would take him and his guys 2 days to get it done. To our surprise, his guys finished the job by 6:00 in the evening on the 1st day!!! Brown Roofing Company by far exceeded our expectations, and we would recommend his work to anyone who wants the job done right the 1st time. Cant say enough good things, Thank you for a job well done. Mr. and Mrs. A O

Today, 5-17-20 , still no service. Told Brown roofing on 5-15-20 it had been over 90 days, and we were getting quotes from other companies. Said he was still not doing work on roofs due to the current situation with the virus. Other companies were working, and we needed it completed ASAP. Then, 30 minutes later said he could do it on Monday. In the meantime, I got a better quote 5-17-20 and we told them we need to cancel the service. He said we owe him 10% of a $1600 bill. Would not recommend this company! I couldn't get the work done for over 3 months. They missed their chance. Don't waste your time! Thanks

We're an hour away, and I had been trying to get local chimney sweeps and masons to come deal with our house for years. I'd get an estimate, and then no one would follow up. Bone Dry showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would do, were respectful to my house, property, and people, and cleaned up after they left. We had three different crews come through to address each phase of the work, and everyone was professional, friendly, and communicative. There were a couple of small bumps, but they handled them professionally and quickly. I was, all in all, very pleased with their performance. I'm a building professional myself, and very much appreciate what they do. They're good people, and did a very good job for me. Pricing was reasonable '(this stuff is expensive - brace yourself, but these guys don't overcharge) I'd hire them again without a second thought.

Followed up a few years later by issues where moisture was entering our house through an access point and causing damage to our ceiling. They took partial blame for the situation and repaired things with partial charges. Most recently after a storm, they checked my roof and determined it was OK, but a rake board had come loose and the sales rep showed me a video verifying the need for repair. I consented. When they came to do the repair, it wound up being a simple 'nail back in place job', which was not what all I thought it would necessarily be. Combined with a single loose piece of siding that was also nailed back into place, I was charged $665 for a 10-15 minute job that required basically no materials. When I shared my concern that I felt the charge was excessive for the work performed, I was basically dismissed and charged the full amount. I realize I signed the contract, I simply didn't think the job warranted the full charge. I appreciate they got on a ladder and did work I wasn't comfortable or knowledgable enough to do, and felt a slightly lesser charge seemed to make sense for what they did. Guess I will look elsewhere for future jobs after the lack of understanding to work with me.

A tale of two roofing jobs…read more It was the best of roofing jobs, it was the worst of roofing jobs. It was a messiest of roofing jobs, it was the cleanest of roofing jobs..... I live in the 'urban core' which is one way of saying the homes in my neighborhood are close together. About two months ago our neighbor had a new roof put on that was NOT with A New Rooftime. She didn't bother telling us. We came home to our front, side and back yard covered in shingles, shingle wrappers, nails and tar paper. I asked the workers if they were going to clean it up. Once they found the jefe that spoke English, he said they would. I was suspicious because the trucks they came in were junk and had nothing on the side of them. Not that that is needed but it's somewhat expected. Anyway, they didn't really clean up. They busted about four of a potting plants. We picked up best we could but are still finding the occassional shingle bit and nail. Last week, A New Rooftime came and did a nice job in no time flat. There was a bit of miscommunication in scheduling it (could have been my fault) but they were also in a hurry to get it done before a forecasted weekend of rain followed by snow. I coudln't be home for it. Neither could my wife. When we did get home, everything was done. Everything was cleaned up. I even have a beehive I told them about and it wasn't messed with at all. I spent some time outdoors and haven't found any of my old shingles in the yard or bushes...although I did find bits of my neighbors. It cost more than I wanted to pay but I'd waited too long to get it done and the damage was rather obvious. My fault but since I couldn't be there they did email some updates and things I needed to know about. I was really impressed.
