They can answer most questions in regards to their industry and event planning or send you in the right direction if they can't. Both of them are extremely sweet and fun to be around. For weddings, J&R Productions can do just about anything including planning the whole thing, taking picture and filming it from start to finish, providing the music and any activities you may want and even perfect the art of lighting to make you look amazing in the spot light. As far as other social events go, they've done it all from birthday, graduation and anniversary parties to school dances, grand openings and political rallies to holiday parties and banquets. They have also put together corporate events of all kinds. They are very good about listening to what you want and making it a reality the best of their abilities. If something is not possible or may not work as you hope they will let you know to prevent disappointment. Customer service is a huge priority and they will bend over backwards if they have to keep their clients happy and also gain new ones. It's no wonder they're so successful in their field!

I don't think I heard even one song on my dinner list, and 75% of the dancing songs were also not what we wanted. I specified that we didn't want country music or any cheesy line dances. He played the cotton eye joe song, and 2 or 3 other line dances and I had people continually going up and asking him to play songs from our list all night long. Even though we told him the reception ended at 11:00, he insisted that we never discussed this and that we would owe him for an extra 30 minutes. He asked one of my bridesmaids to pay for the additional time. When we first met with him he was trying to beat the price of another DJ and insisted that if we needed more uplighting he would provide it free of charge. When we asked about it later he wanted to charge us for it, and also asked my bridesmaid to pay for the 3 additional uplights. She told him that considering he didn't play from my list and had a "booty contest" at my wedding that maybe he should let it go and so he went and got my fiancé and had him pay him for the extra fees. I really liked him when we met; however he was extremely misleading, and seemed to only say what we wanted to hear to get our business and then did things how he wanted to do them on the day of. Very disappointing experience. Definitely would not recommend. After posting a fair and honest review, my husband was harassed by Rob as we were trying to prepare for our honeymoon. When we returned I had received a nasty email from Rob taking absolutely no responsibility for any of the aspects of his service that we were unhappy with. Booking this DJ was the biggest mistake at my wedding....Beware.

He made the whole process effortless, the level of professionalism was amazing and all our guests told us how much fun they had at all the events. It isn't easy to keep things fresh and fun when you have a weekend of events all needing music but DJ Sangeen and his crew did it beautifully. They were the MC at our welcome party and wedding, coordinated a dhol drummer and mobile DJ unit for my husband's baraat, made recommendations for our wedding ceremony and, of course, rocked the roof off the cocktail hour and reception. Awaaz uses a really helpful and easy app to collect all the songs and info for each event. DJ Sangeen and his crew just crushed all our expectations and gave 110% the whole time while still nailing every request we had. We even had a surprise for our guests and asked him to play along during the sham - which he did so fantastically our wedding coordinator started yelling at him! Our guests kept telling us what an amazing time they had and how great the music was. More than anything else, we appreciated all the help and guidance from DJ Sangeen. He was able to take our requests, ask some questions, make some tweaks and changes where needed and created an entire weekend that was nothing short of magical.
