Not a good experience at all. I brought my terrova Ipilot in for a service repair. I explained to…read morethe front desk person that I have two problems with my TM, prop wasn't spinning well probably water intrusion and i couldn't get the remote controller to sync with the head. The front desk tells me, "ok we we should have the unit back to you in a week, we'll call you". I thought that sounds great. A week later, you guessed no call, no big deal I call them to check the status of the repair. The front desk says yep, water in the motor and quoted me a price. I said ok what about pairing the remote? They then respond the remote wasn't written on the ticket, I'll have them check it out and call you right back. Sure enough a couple more days goes by, yep no phone call. I call again, yep no big deal again, the front desk tells me they are waiting for me to approve the repairs.... I said Oh ok what are the repairs? They then explain to me my remote is fried, the only fix is to go blue tooth and quote me 1200 bucks. I'm thinking to myself, this remote worked the day before until I disconnected the trolling motor. I may have a unique situation here and asked could I speak with the service tech, front desk says sure I'll put him on the phone. So I consider myself a resonable guy, I get past the poor communication on their part, and I begin to explain my unique situation regarding my remote and ask the tech are you really sure the remote is fried? The tech immediately cops an attitude on me and says "I have over 1400 repairs under my belt and it is what it is and proceeds to hang up on me. Guez the guy just hung up on me...Now I'm pissed, I call back and tell them not to touch my TM, I'm coming to get it. I'm sue FE has some real good techs, thats what I've heard from other fishermen. However, I must have ran into a bad one. Anyway this particular tech needs to go. I'm sure FE will be a better place without this guy. fyi. I took my TM over to Dan's South Side. They fixed the water intrusion and paired the remote no problems at all. Great Service at Dan's! I'll be taking my business to Dan's from now on!

Avoid this store unless you enjoy being misled and disrespected…read more I stopped in to ask if the items I had were something they'd be interested in buying. I had pictures, detailed information, and a solid conversation with an associate who confirmed, "Sure, we would buy those!" They even looked up the value while I was there. Two days later, after loading everything onto a trailer and driving 30 minutes in traffic, I returned to the store--spoke to the exact same associate, with the exact same items, and the story completely changed. They waited until everything was unloaded before pulling the switch. No explanation, no courtesy, just a waste of time, gas, and effort. And then it went from frustrating to flat-out absurd: I was accused of vandalism and the police were called. For what? Expressing my frustration? Loading my items back onto the trailer? No returning their cart to the entryway from the parking lot. It was humiliating and unnecessary. The Anoka Police viewed the security footage and was like..."What a waste of my time." I could not agree more. This wasn't a miscommunication--it was a lack of integrity and professionalism from the HEAD - down. If you value your time, energy, and basic human decency, consider going anywhere else. The "Head Roach" clearly is better suited for sewers than customer service and sales. Suggestion: Treat people with integrity, Pawn't Waste Your Time America.

Can't remember her name, but she works the register and is the nicest person there. I'd go here ONLY if you need extra cash or want to buy something used. Overall a pretty decent shop.
