This wonderful company is owned by 2 brothers, who I jokingly refer to as the pool "Property Brothers". My husband did his research, we met with other pool companies and had a total of 3 different designs. Another pool company made us feel rushed and not heard during our design meeting, this was evident when they kept trying to push a standard "Lima bean" pool shape with limestone rather than what we had in mind. They were thorough with their explanation of the pool building process and receptive of our design vision. Our vision was ultimately a pool with clean lines that would be the focal point in our backyard. They were always just a text or phone call away and real went above and beyond. When the landscaping company we hired didn't complete a couple of small things in time, Davis took it upon himself to help us out. He was very hands on, showing up daily during majority of the build and would always get his hands dirty too! Currently, our pool is filled, we are waiting on the plaster to cure and will be swimming soon! Thank you so much for everything!

They were extremely thorough, providing a wealth of information that made us feel confident throughout the planning phase. Their communication during the installation process was also excellent. From start to finish, the project took approximately 12 weeks, and we were very satisfied with the progress up to completion. However, after the pool was filled and the system was running, I was left unsure about next steps and was waiting for "Pool School" to be scheduled. After a week without any communication, I reached out to Davis but did not receive a response. Another week passed with no update. I then contacted Parker directly, & expressed my dissatisfaction and from that point on, he was very responsive and helpful. He scheduled a time to meet and provided all the necessary information. He was apologetic and made a clear effort to make things right. Unfortunately, we did run into a few issues during and after the install. Our sprinkler line and buried outdoor lighting cable were damaged during the process. While Parker explained that repairs were not covered under the contract, which we understood due to contract reflecting, we had to hire someone at our own expense to fix them. As a goodwill gesture, Parker installed an automatic fill system for the pool, which we appreciated. However, during the installation of the fill system, our sprinkler line was damaged again, leading to another unexpected repair at our cost--bringing our total to around $550 in out-of-pocket expenses. I feel this is something Premiere & other pool companies should review & reconsider. Despite these setbacks, we still believe Premier Pools is a great company. The overall quality of the pool, the sales and installation experience, and Parker's willingness to take ownership of issues make them a company we would choose again without hesitation.

Fairchild Swimming Pool is part of Fairchild Park located near the city cemeteries near Houston St…read more As far as I can tell, this is the closest to downtown free swimming pool. It is one of several public swimming pools run by San Antonio Parks and Rec. All outdoor public swimming pools run by the city are free to all, open six days a week throughout the summer swimming season, and follow very similar rules and protocol. This review will focus on Fairchild Swimming Pool and what sets it apart from other city swimming pools. As with most city pools, you are required to sign in at the front desk with name, age group, and gender. These roles help the parks department obtain funding to continue operation of the pools, so it is very important to sign in. A family favorite, and not just because it was the closest to our home. Fairchild Pool has had consistent and mature staff over the past few seasons so the lifeguards are no greenhorns to the job. To pool is fairly basic and a short walking distance from the parking lot, but your car remains in sight which can be important in this area. Fairchild Pool has a large shallow swimming area and a decent sized deep area ranging from 3ft to 9ft. This pool used to have a diving board but it was removed after a tragic accident during the 2017 season. The good that came out of it is the pool was completely renovated over the spring in 2018 with new pump equipment and a pool lift, making this one of the more fresh feeling pools to swim in. It can be incredibly refreshing to dive in after a long day. Fairchild Pool is one of a handful a pools not running at the normal 1pm to 7pm hours, it opens at 2pm and runs until 8pm. the entire pool is surrounded by concrete which can become blisteringly hot in the summer. Be warned. The west side of the pool has decent tree coverage for the bi-hourly swimming breaks times for the pool pH to settle. Food is not allowed, although you may bring drinking water. There are both Men's and Women's bathrooms with a small dressing area, and a shower off area near the pool entrance. Radios seem pretty well tolerated here, and someone is usually rocking music at either side of the pool. Fairchild Pool is rarely busy as Lincoln Pool is just up the street, so there is always ample room to play or swim laps. The southeast corner of the pool does have a problem with wasps every now and then, but it's not too bad. Interesting tidbit, from the south side of the pool, you can see the Mass Grave of Alamo Defenders in the Oddfellow Cemetery.

The…read morefacility is built as a greenhouse and with 112 heat index in Texas you can imagine how miserable everyone is. Then to add insult to injury they will only allow clear bags and no chairs. No outside food and beverages of any kind. They make you pour out any beverage you bring and yes, even just ice! No other facility is ran this restrictive. I hope they never have another event here unless they change their policy.

I started just like what they was doing, learning to parallel park and recite the air breaks. The new hires was all in the engine learning the air breaks, where the oil stick was or what ever they are required to learn now. Back then we didn't need to know that...thank heavens. Learning to recite and perform the air break test was the hardest obstacle for me, whew I'm sure glade that's over. I started with school buses and now I drive motor coaches.

Our daughter started the free class and we ended up signing her up because she really enjoyed the lessons. The party portion of Emlers was amazing! The price is very affordable for 2 hours of the entire facility. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will do another party there. The swimming lessons have been such a great for our daughter and watching her enjoy it has been enjoyable for us. The facility does get crowded on some days but doesn't bother us. She has really learned quickly and her instructors have been nothing short of amazing!

If you have any doubts, Aqua tots makes it easy to transition your babe into a swim program. You can easily make an appointment for an evaluation class (where your child is taken into the pool with other kids to see how comfortable they are) and then decide how many days you'd like to enroll them. CONSISTENCY is key, and the more exposure your child receives, the better they'll get. We've enrolled our babes 3 times a week and though it may get a bit pricey, EVERY CENT IS WORTH IT. The pool and surrounding areas are cleaned DAILY (multiple times a day, even). The facility has "free swim" for members where parents / guardians can jump into the pool with their kiddos for more exposure. Changing rooms, bathrooms, amenities like hair dryers and lotions are always stocked and available. Not to mention, FREE COFFEE for those of us coming in after work for the extra oomph. I am absolutely delighted how Anaya & Azaan are welcomed BY NAME each time they walk through the door & said goodbye to when walking out. This eases my mind to know that we are not just faces to them. The team here at DOVE CREEK is SOLID. I cannot give you any reason why you shouldn't give them a try. The other feature I love about Aqua Tots is the APP -- you can see how well your child is progressing and where he / she may need some more exposure / practice. This is the EASIEST way to keep tabs on what to maybe practice at home or remind before swim class. My kids also love seeing their stars and have a fun little competition amongst themselves.
