He also returned to check on the plants and replaced a couple that he felt werent doing well! I have hired him to take over the lawn care, as my previous lawn guys took no pride in my place, and oh by the way, Jeff is cheaper and does a better job!! I can see why he is in demand, the quality of work is great, as is the price.

After they did so I saw that my upright sprinkler PVC pipe was broken off and the supporting 3/4" galvanized pipe was bent over. Galvanized pipe more than 3' into the ground just doesn't bend. He had to back over it. I confronted him and he lied. This was incredible since I was in the process of having my insurance company approve him to remove my brush and limbs a job over $3000. If he isn't honest about mistakes when he is about to get a job will he be honest when he actually has your job? He can lie about it but again 3/4" pipe just doesn't bend over. I still have pictures. Avoid him like the plague! I haven't even talked about the scrapes on the driveway and the lawn he tore up. Never use him.

They gave me the quote which included stump grinding, and told me it was for that day only. I agreed to the job. I also explained that the brick would still be around the trees since I was saving up to have the house rebricked and the tree job took a big chunk of that savings. They told me they stump grind on Saturdays, and that whenever the brick was removed, they would come back and stump grind. I questioned it again after they finished removing the trees. They sent me a $0 invoice for stump grinding notating that they would be back when the bricks were removed. It took four months for everything to be finished regarding the house. When I contacted them last week to say the brick was removed and the stumps could be ground, I was told they needed more money because too much time had passed. I was told 1-2 months was okay but 4 months was too long. They continued to argue with me until I got them to agree to a small refund because the job wasn't completed. I now have to spend more money to have the stumps ground down because they didn't honor their word nor their invoices showing that information. Be wary of the jobs you are contracting them to do and meticulously detail all duties you are having completed.

They completely cleaned up all the limbs, debris, raked and swept. All were polite, professional and knew what to do. I wish I could give them negative stars. They were over 3 hours late. I paid 4 installers to stand…read morearound. Then when we finally called Metheny to find out where they were, apparently they forgot but said they'd send a truck. When the truck finally arrived, the concrete was very old, which we didn't know until after it was poured. It couldn't be smoothed at all. The driver was very rude and left abruptly. My installers worked their asses off trying to make this work but there was no way. Metheny finally agreed to come look at it 5 days later. I was there the entire time and the person, Steve, who is a salesman, apparently looked at a corner of it for less than 2 minutes and then left without ever talking to me. When I was finally able to reach him, he was a complete bully and tried to mansplain that it wasn't their fault, just like if he made a cake and it turned out bad, it wouldn't be that there was something wrong with the batter, just that the person who put it in the oven did that part wrong. I am not even kidding. This is exactly what he said. He also tried to make me think that this concrete was perfectly ok as a driveway and that I was expecting something that was unreasonable. Attached is a photo of what my driveway looks like. And they told me they will not acknowledge that there is anything wrong and will have no conversations with me about how to rectify the situation.
