In West Monroe, we had an ice storm a short time ago that caused many trees to fall. One HUGE tree fell on my neighbors house behind my house, across the alley, which was the only way to get to this tree. I watched the whole tree being removed. They did an EXCELLENT job, and I was impressed, which doesn't happen very often. There was a couple of minor issues about the alley, it was muddy and very wet, but this company fixed every issue there was. I have always been told that I am too direct and very hard to please. I needed to have a tree removed from my front yard, so I messaged a bunch of Tree Services and Landscaping contractors using Yelp's convenient "Request a Quote" button (honestly, Yelp -along with many other smartphone tools/services/smart devices- is contributing to my inborn laziness in ways I didn't know were possible). Anyway, the contractor responses generally fell into one of the following categories: [] #1 [] They responded quickly to tell me that they don't provide the requested service. [] #2 [] They responded quickly, but their quoted prices seemed kind of unreasonable, all things considered (I mean, one dude quoted me upwards of $200... I'm lazy, not lazy and rich). [] #3 [] They responded quickly, and their quoted prices were reasonable. [] #4 [] They couldn't be bothered to respond. Which, if you're going to allow me the ability to "Request a Quote" (something that a business page owner has control over whether they want to even include said option), then either respond, or consider not managing your business page, mebbe? R&B Turf & Tree (R&B T&T) fell in that [] #3 [] sweet spot along with one other dude, but I dunno, I just liked R&B T&T's response better. It took me a little bit to follow up with Ben after I got his quote, but when I did, he was quick to respond. And he showed up the same day. Ben was a friendly guy, and he explained what he was going to do before he did it. He ended up having to come back a couple days later to finish up, but he did the work as described. He also gave me some advice on what to do when replanting a tree. All in all, no complaints. If we can work out a price, I may just get R&B T&T to put a new tree in too, because... Inborn laziness and all that... P. S. Credit cards are accepted, but there's a 3.25% surcharge, so I ended up writing a check instead. read more

We had two really big trees that had to be removed. They brought in their big crane and made sure to not leave tracks in the yard where they had to put the crane. They obviously observed all the safety protocols and cleaned up after they were done. Several of the neighbors even commented on what a good job they did. read more

I had quotes from a couple of tree services to remove a large tree. One company quoted double the price that R&B charged and then kept lowering it down to the quote I was given by R&B. I chose R&B because they didn't try to see how much they could get and started with a reasonable quote. I am so glad I did because the service was excellent and they did an amazing job. Every one of the 9 trees on my mother's property (four of which are 2 stories tall and several other trees had caused structural damage to her property) was impacted by the 2020 ice storm in October. R&B came in to assess the damage and took over communications with her insurance company to get the tree work covered as well as the property damages via another company that came in to do those repairs. Aside from starting the claim, we didn't have to do another thing regarding insurance for any of it, they managed everything for us. R&B had to contract our job to a group from Texas due to the sheer number of jobs caused by the storm, but the contracting group did a great job and R&B followed up to make sure we were happy with the job. They are great to work with and go above and beyond to help you get your trees into a safe and healthy condition as soon as possible. They provide fair pricing for knowledgeable and thorough work.
