This was my first remodel, so I did a lot of research and got multiple bids. Andrew's pricing was lower than others, but his work looked almost too perfect, which honestly made me skeptical at first. I reached out to one of his past reviewers before hiring him, just to confirm they had a good experience and they had nothing but great things to say. Now I understand why. Andrew handled demo, moved the shower to a different wall, installed all new tile, plumbing, lighting, and built the entire shower from scratch. He also has a strong eye for design and helped guide decisions in a way that felt collaborative, not pushy. He showed up exactly when he said he would every single day and worked full 8-10 hour days until everything was complete. His communication stayed clear, consistent, and reliable. He kept the job site clean, contained the dust to one area, and was extremely respectful of my home. I took notice that he was the only contractor who took his shoes off at the door when walking thru to bid. That said a lot to me about him. He continued to do things that showed his good nature and great character. Another thing I really appreciated was I felt that he genuinely looked out for me. A designer I had hired was pushing me toward options that were well over my budget, and Andrew encouraged me to take a step back and think it through. He even suggested better alternatives, which I ended up using. That kind of honesty is rare. He also recommended great companies for other parts of the project, including AQ Glass Arizona Shower Doors and Aaron Dominguez Granite, both of which did excellent work. He stayed on budget, did everything right the first time, and was incredibly patient with me throughout the process. I've already hired him again for my kitchen and guest bathroom, and he's even come back for a few smaller requests without hesitation. The only "negative" is that he's booked pretty far out, but that's really not a negative. It just means he's in demand. He is absolutely worth the wait. I feel very lucky to have found him and would recommend him without hesitation.

The Andrew is incredibly efficient. The project moved forward smoothly without unnecessary delays (other than when materials did not arrive when scheduled). Communication was top-notch; he kept us updated every step of the way, answered all our questions promptly, made us aware of when he was going to be at our project and at what time, and made sure we felt comfortable with every decision. The crew was also very clean and they treated our home with respect and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. It was still a construction zone, so there was still some dust that lingered around, but we were able to stay on top of it fairly easily. Their guys showed up on time. They were courteous. They were respectful of us, and respectful of our home. They asked for our input when they got to a part that required some judgement. They performed mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and drywall work. All done nearly to perfection. And they passed the acid test; after they left, I noticed two small things which I thought could have done better. They returned immediately and made these right. And they sent an invoice almost a week later (giving us an opportunity to discover any other issues, which we did NOT), and the invoice was for the exact amount of the estimate. They accepted my credit card payment over the phone. Our job was a small one, but they have definitely encouraged us to contact them again for our next job - small or large. Brett Buckner (owner) helped me make my preliminary selections so that he could come out to my home within a few days to do a comprehensive measuring and fully understand my needs/wants. Within a week I had a detailed quote emailed. We did a follow-up to make some revisions to the plan and thus the quote. I had done some other shopping, the bid was competitive, but just as importantly, they had done work at my home before and also had recommendations from people I knew personally. Upon award of the job, I was assigned a project manager and timelines were established; tasks assigned and communication was clear. Most importantly, any time I had a question, I could make a call, and would get answers the same day. During the most intense part of the project, I was only without a working kitchen for 4 1/2 days; and always had a functional refrigerator. Coordination between the cabinet painter, the granite/tile work and plumbing made that possible. Throughout the project both Skyler and/or Marjene would stop in to check on progress to make sure that I was happy and that the quality of work was meeting their standards. Upon having our master shower remediated for mold through our home insurance policy, we were on the hunt for a company that could reconstruct the shower. I submitted a request through Yelp, and Global Prevention Services responded and got me scheduled for a consultation immediately. Shortly after this consultation, the Global Prevention Services Project Coordinator, Kimberly, put together several service estimates for me, as we weren't yet sure the direction we wanted to go with the shower tile. Kimberly was patient with us as we picked out materials and went back and forth on what we wanted to do! Due to our mold experience, we ultimately decided we wanted to limit the amount of grout in the shower, in hopes of minimizing the chances of it failing. With that, we started the reconstruction! Throughout the whole process, Kimberly and Rudy, the project manager, were incredibly thorough, communicative, and overall, just really helpful. We could not be more grateful for the time and effort both Kimberly and Rudy spent trying to make our shower dreams come true. I would also love to give a shout out to all of the guys who helped load and unload HUGE porcelain slabs -- that is no easy feat! From the time I walked through their door I received service that I though was a thing of the past. We discussed the project, budget, time frame, expected start dates, and the entire process. Once we picked out the various materials, they offered advice on the products as well as ways to make it look better without trying to up sell me. I asked for a quote on my shower originally with optional quotes on tub and vanity, because I didn't think I could afford it as well. The break out and additional costs were so reasonable, I couldn't pass it up and ended up getting almost the whole bathroom remodeled. From the first day of construction till the end, Cab Tech kept me informed of the schedule and worked continuously until completion. The owner came by throughout the process to make sure the job was done to his standards and even made a change at their expense to make the finishing touches look better. We had an excellent experience with Holtzman. We replaced carpets and cabinets in the living room…read moreand kitchen. We also installed new cabinets and a wine cooler while demolishing a built-in entertainment center. The bulk of the project was done in eight weeks, including two significant change requests made by us: 1. The concrete floor was cracked and very uneven. My foreman identified this issue, told us how he would repair and level it, and then spent a few days pouring a new floor and leveling it. If he didn't address this floor issue our new to be installed engineered floors would have cracked over time. 2. We decided to paint almost the entire place well into the project, so work was delayed while the painters did this new work. What was great about the project: 1. The sales process was easy and reactive. Paul visited with us a number of times and helped with all of the planning. 2. We were assigned two interior designers. I worked closely with one, and she helped me pick out new appliances that had to fit into very tight places. She even told me that the appliance sales people I'd ultimately work with would try to correct me. Her recommendations were made with surgical precision, a centimeter in some cases. It was really impressive. 3. Their demolition crew was unbelievably efficient. They took this whole place apart in about nine total hours. The cleanup was impeccable. 4. The project manager engineered the entire thing. The workers knew what needed to be done, especially when he wasn't on site. 5. I met various workers and contractors. I was shocked by how good their work product was. The flooring person was excellent and extremely prescient. All of the workers really enjoyed working together, which was reflected in their work. I think this is also a reflection on how they liked working with Holtzman. 6. After the project was complete we met with a post-project coordinator afterwards, and told us what to do if we were at all unsatisfied. 7. When Holtzman contacted us with questions we provided immediate answers. There were a lot of decision points on material items, which I was happy to answer so the project stayed on course and details weren't skipped over. Every detail was addressed, and it shows. We have more projects in the works, and we expect to be working with Holtzman.
