Their guys showed up on time. They were courteous. They were respectful of us, and respectful of our home. They asked for our input when they got to a part that required some judgement. They performed mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and drywall work. All done nearly to perfection. And they passed the acid test; after they left, I noticed two small things which I thought could have done better. They returned immediately and made these right. And they sent an invoice almost a week later (giving us an opportunity to discover any other issues, which we did NOT), and the invoice was for the exact amount of the estimate. They accepted my credit card payment over the phone. Our job was a small one, but they have definitely encouraged us to contact them again for our next job - small or large. This was my first remodel, so I did a lot of research and got multiple bids. Andrew's pricing was lower than others, but his work looked almost too perfect, which honestly made me skeptical at first. I reached out to one of his past reviewers before hiring him, just to confirm they had a good experience and they had nothing but great things to say. Now I understand why. Andrew handled demo, moved the shower to a different wall, installed all new tile, plumbing, lighting, and built the entire shower from scratch. He also has a strong eye for design and helped guide decisions in a way that felt collaborative, not pushy. He showed up exactly when he said he would every single day and worked full 8-10 hour days until everything was complete. His communication stayed clear, consistent, and reliable. He kept the job site clean, contained the dust to one area, and was extremely respectful of my home. I took notice that he was the only contractor who took his shoes off at the door when walking thru to bid. That said a lot to me about him. He continued to do things that showed his good nature and great character. Another thing I really appreciated was I felt that he genuinely looked out for me. A designer I had hired was pushing me toward options that were well over my budget, and Andrew encouraged me to take a step back and think it through. He even suggested better alternatives, which I ended up using. That kind of honesty is rare. He also recommended great companies for other parts of the project, including AQ Glass Arizona Shower Doors and Aaron Dominguez Granite, both of which did excellent work. He stayed on budget, did everything right the first time, and was incredibly patient with me throughout the process. I've already hired him again for my kitchen and guest bathroom, and he's even come back for a few smaller requests without hesitation. The only "negative" is that he's booked pretty far out, but that's really not a negative. It just means he's in demand. He is absolutely worth the wait. After talking to several contractors Ardan was recommended to us by a friend. The team at Ardan was easy to work with from day one. The entire Ardan Construction team were professional, and their work is incredible. They communicate every step of the way from the planning phase to the final walkthrough. Settle in for this one:…read more In January 2024, we chose ArDan to remodel our glorified galley kitchen in our 1974 rambler in McCormick Ranch, and provided a budget between $150-175K. The project had a couple of other components, i.e., removing two interior walls and a non-functioning beehive fireplace, replacing the front door, and a handful of "wants" but not necessarily "needs." While fully aware of said budget, the sales guy's first concept (his idea, not ours), was to relocate the kitchen and create a butler's pantry/walk-through pantry in place of the original kitchen; essentially putting in two kitchens. That would be all fine and good if it could be done for $150-175K. We had never considered moving the kitchen. It seemed costly, but he knew our budget. (Note: nothing about this project included gaining any square footage to our 1984 sq ft home). We paid them 9K to get the ball rolling; they came a couple of times to take measurements, 3D imaging, etc., and then provided a proposal that exceeded our original budget by $150K. That should have been our sign (that and the 8K they allocated for washer/dryer), but we'd spent several thousand dollars so far and thought they at least deserved another chance to get it right. We then opted to keep the kitchen in place and incorporate a peninsula, instead. In lieu of solid wood cabinets (and because I was looking for a more stream-lined, minimalist style), ArDan suggested a laminate cabinet to give us the look we wanted without (supposedly) the cost of wood. Again, we were skeptical, but the laminate was beautiful, solid, exceptionally engineered. After falling in love with the cabinets, choosing countertops and appliances, and meeting with the designer at the cabinet company multiple times (the design was finalized with the exception of adding a few inserts), ArDan presented us with yet another cost estimate that was still between $92-117K over our original budget. The more economical laminate cabinets were anything but, and necessitated an additional $20K to install because, as our contractor finally disclosed, he wasn't qualified to do so. German cabinets apparently must be installed by Germans. From Germany. At no point in the process was ArDan even remotely close to our original number. It was clear the job needed some serious re-tooling, and I let them know that unless they had any other suggestions, the kitchen project was going to be dead in the water. Then they just walked away without even a "sorry we couldn't make this work" text message. We never heard from them again. So, here we are, one year later still limping along with a kitchen that's in desperate need of a remodel, grateful that our circa 1997 side-by-side fridge at least made it through the holidays before it came disconcertingly close to causing a fire (thankfully, it did not). If we could rewind the tape to January 2024, we would; and we would do everything differently.

Brett Buckner (owner) helped me make my preliminary selections so that he could come out to my home within a few days to do a comprehensive measuring and fully understand my needs/wants. Within a week I had a detailed quote emailed. We did a follow-up to make some revisions to the plan and thus the quote. I had done some other shopping, the bid was competitive, but just as importantly, they had done work at my home before and also had recommendations from people I knew personally. Upon award of the job, I was assigned a project manager and timelines were established; tasks assigned and communication was clear. Most importantly, any time I had a question, I could make a call, and would get answers the same day. During the most intense part of the project, I was only without a working kitchen for 4 1/2 days; and always had a functional refrigerator. Coordination between the cabinet painter, the granite/tile work and plumbing made that possible. Throughout the project both Skyler and/or Marjene would stop in to check on progress to make sure that I was happy and that the quality of work was meeting their standards. Upon having our master shower remediated for mold through our home insurance policy, we were on the hunt for a company that could reconstruct the shower. I submitted a request through Yelp, and Global Prevention Services responded and got me scheduled for a consultation immediately. Shortly after this consultation, the Global Prevention Services Project Coordinator, Kimberly, put together several service estimates for me, as we weren't yet sure the direction we wanted to go with the shower tile. Kimberly was patient with us as we picked out materials and went back and forth on what we wanted to do! Due to our mold experience, we ultimately decided we wanted to limit the amount of grout in the shower, in hopes of minimizing the chances of it failing. With that, we started the reconstruction! Throughout the whole process, Kimberly and Rudy, the project manager, were incredibly thorough, communicative, and overall, just really helpful. We could not be more grateful for the time and effort both Kimberly and Rudy spent trying to make our shower dreams come true. I would also love to give a shout out to all of the guys who helped load and unload HUGE porcelain slabs -- that is no easy feat! I think it is also important to thank both the CEO, Michael and the President, Jeanette for checking in throughout the project to ensure our satisfaction.
