Ability Construction and Dynamic Kitchen, Bath and Flooring merged March 2024. I hired them for…read moreflooring replacement and renovation of a bathroom. Overall they are very disorganized. Contract never signed because of their errors. From picking the floor grout, shower grout, faucet in the bathroom and pulls on the vanity, they never remembered what was chosen and they had to call multiple times for the information before ordering. Frequently they would say they were returning on a specific day and then never came back for days on end. Prior to walk through they pressured for most of the money promising they were almost done. On day of walk-through the baseboards are not completed including no caulking on 338 feet of the 350 feet of baseboards installed. Also, baseboards are messy with multiple nails holes in many in them, uneven with large gaps between and the tile and baseboard, and some look used. Also, in multiple areas the grout in the flooring has holes in it and uneven tiles. They said they removed and leveled the tiles, but they were never repaired. The grout in the shower floor is uneven with tile edges exposed, hard to walk on. On questioning the foreman about the shower floor grout, which was supposed to be higher quality and easy to clean, he said he was going to check to make sure they used the correct grout, yet he never responded. He also never responded to our claim of the poor grout job overall in shower floor. The grout appears dirty and is hard to clean. On the bathroom floor much of the grout is stained white and it should be tan as ordered. On day of walk through, 83 days into the project, no one arrived. Since that day no further work has been done.

Hello everybody ; I…read morehired Alvaro for installing doors and wiring and both Job are faulty and he is under investigation by licensing, he has no insurance or bond to protect his customers incase he make a mess and do faulty Job! not only he did a bad Job, he put me in Financial difficulties because he didn't finish on time and finish it right , still I have to bring a contractor to remove those doors that he did overcut and his recess lighting faulty wiring which I'm working on it now which will cost me a lots to fix in addition my house was Vacant for few month and I can't rent it on time. to those trying to protect him and putting reviews, ethically they are not doing good thing to protect some one that has a bad reputation as far as his workmanship , so don't post a fake review to bring his rating up, it wont work, he is under investigation by licensing and he might get a big fine or more ! please stay away from Alvaro and his wife which is doing his contract, they are a nightmare, find some one that knows how to do the job for you guys to fullest possible. My HOA hired Luis to repair some dry rot and termite damaged spots in the exterior of several…read morehomes. Mine was the first he worked on. The results look great! I don't claim to be a construction or house painting expert, but everything was done well. Paint is precise and neat--no random drips, no paint accidentally sprayed on other surfaces like windows, etc. Luis was very communicative both to me and to the neighbors next door. He and his crew were friendly and respectful. And timely. Showed up when he said he would--and accomplished what he said he would. These days when every contractor is so stretched, finding someone who does what you want and completes the job when they say they'll complete the job is a big win! Also, he did two extra things (at least) because he said he felt better about going above and beyond than leaving it just ok (as in the original HOA agreed upon contract). 1. He removed some small unneeded pipes that had not been used for years that he felt might be a tripping hazard. That work required a couple of plumbing parts and some labor--and he offered and completed that out of his own pocket. 2. He also painted the front door just so it would appear as fresh as the newly painted trimwork. Lastly, he and his crew were very careful around some new plantings that I have--not a leaf or bloom was disturbed, stepped on, dripped on, or in anyway damaged. Thank you, Luis! Bottomline, I am very pleased and would definitely recommend more work with Luis and his crew.
