After one change of plans for moving assorted furniture items from Bend to Boise for which we reached out to JNJ (see my original review comments), and scheduled the help and then cancelled it when a family member moved the pieces, when we had another occasion to need to move chairs from Boise to Bend, we reached out again and once again Kellen Moore did a great job of responding. We scheduled the date and time for the work, agreed on the contract price, and Kellen showed up as scheduled and prepared to do the work of moving a couple of chairs from our house here to the house in Bend, placing them in the great room there and moving the existing oversized chairs down a steep stairway to daylight basement storage. Kellen is delightful to work with and did a careful and professional job. I'll add in that my husband was astounded that for the oversized chairs in the Bend house, Kellen could carry them unassisted down the steep cement staircase to the basement without even a wobble. This is the worst moving company I have ever used they scratched all of our furniture they broke a granite table top; they didn't pack accordingly .... so disappointing. Due to their packing skills I had to rent three storage units when I should never of had to have more than two costing me a lot of money over several months. We had just refinished the wood floors in our home that we were moving from and they put a big scratch in the entry hall floor. They didn't even know how to disconnect the ice-maker appropriately ended up causing a leak under the sink I had to call in a plumber because we had to Vacate the home that day. More added expenses. Don't use them they do not know what they are doing. They mixed garage items, car parts and storage shed items with beautiful home furnishings. Horrible!!!!!! read more

Well, we got off to a rocky start with the weather, record snows in pass through Portland. But we all picked a sunny day, and the whole pick up, drive and delivery went smooth as silk. Thanks guys. This was a very special antique table (very heavy) with nine chairs. Even the chairs were heavy. So, good for you, JNJ, job well-done, and a long drive home. We paid with zelle always nerve-racking for old people, because we paid ahead. But it was a nice, smooth, and friendly transaction though none of us met. read more

This company is amazing! A couple of guys, Kellen and sterling help us move from bend Oregon to Arizona..... IN THE SUMMER!!! It was 108 degrees and they still got it done very fast and best of all with great attitudes truly a great experience. Mark and crew are professional and do exactly what they say. You can believe these people; they are pro; show up ready to work and stay in the groove until the work is done. Dalton showed up on time; neatly and professionally dressed; was a gentleman and totally socially aware and appropriate around a diverse group of elderly folks who were helping with a difficult move. He did need business cards to give to a few people who asked for them. He had to hand write the company contact information and his handwriting was excellent! I recommend JNJ Labor Force highly. These guys came through big time in a pinch. We'd arranged for another team of packers who cancelled on us at the very last minute. In desperation I put out a couple of calls and JNJ came through big time. They were able to arrive at 8:00am the next morning and helped us pack up our stuff. I've worked with JNJ Labor Force on two major moves and will hire them again for all home or business needs. They provide a perfect service; punctual, friendly, calm, flexible, thoughtful, strong and fair. I appreciated being able to get in touch with them within an hour throughout the process. While they were working with my possessions they took extra care to make sure I would be able to access my basics as I was unpacking (getting to the fridge, etc) and placing major pieces of furniture were I planned even though it took more time. Professional all the way! Kellen is a great communicator and he and his team were 15 minutes early for our move. They were able to unpack two Uhaul Uboxes and load them into a Uhaul truck, drive 15 miles to our new home and move everything into our apartment in less than two and half hours. These guys are by far the best movers we have ever worked with....and we have moved four times in three years across the country. I hired JNJ to unload a 28 ft big rig moving trailer to move into my new home in Bend. The guys at JNJ arrived on time and unloaded the trailer in less than 3 hours (it took us 4 days to load!). I hired 4 guys to make the job as quick as possible and not only were the guys fast, professional, and hard working, they were genuinely nice guys as well. These guys were great. They were on time and loaded my entire house in Redmond and unloaded it in Bend in under 3 hours. Movers arrived on time and worked hard, however a lot of damages resulted from the movers and the company has not rectified the issue. Many small damages included scratched floors, gashes in furniture, doors, and door frames. I wrote an email to the company regarding the damages, they agreed to compensate me and said they would be in touch, however I have not heard from them. None of the damage was major, but it was enough small things to make me feel that i should let others know about this negative experience. read more

Was a no show for a confirmed move out date. When I called to confirm the day before I was informed that he went ahead and double booked the day. This move out date had previously been confirmed. Left me hanging with a full house and 1.5 days left before I had to leave town. Paid a very high premium to bring in another mover at the last minute. Unimpressed! read more

I contacted JNJ for my move from Portland to Bend. They did a great job. They set up a crew to load our truck in Portland. The 2 guys that showed up were on time to the second. They took a little longer than expected and scratched up some furniture. Because it took so ling to load the truck, we were late getting into Bend. I contacted JNJ and they said it would be no problem. They were available to help us unload the truck when we got to Bend. The crew that showed up in Bend was extremely professional and helpful. They unloaded the truck with care and in a very timely manner. When they heard about our experience in Portland they didn't charge us for the unloading. This is actually a huge costumer service point since they only arranged for loaders in Portland. I paid the loaders in Portland cash and then they unload my truck and didn't charge me because they took responsibility for something that was not even their fault. Most companies would tell me to contact the loaders in Portland. These guys solved it on the spot and told me to tell them about the specific damage and they will take care of it. I have to say, the Bend guys are by far then best movers I have used. They did a great job. They went above and beyond rectifying a problem that was not theirs. These guys are a class act and deserve your business. So if you need some help moving stuff or anything else they offer, then give them a call right away. They have the kind of professionalism that is missing in many other companies these days. read more
