Moving sucks. It sucks a whole lot less when Bradley and his crew do the job for you. We moved from Bend to just outside of Vancouver, Washington with PMS (Professional Moving Services). They did everything they said they would do, got the stuff here with breaking anything and were just a pleasure to work with. Calm, cool, collected and very, very professional. We had far less anxiety than we would have with anyone else. If you need to move give these guys a call. They'll do the job right and do it for a fair price. You won't be sorry. read more

I do not recommend this service. We asked for them to pack our U-Haul as I was not able to pack the truck. The team that they sent out to us was a joke. The main guy arrived late and the new guy stood around not knowing what to do. The one guy was new, so I get that he did not know what to do, however, the other guy said that he has been with the company for a while. However, we did not know that they would take twice as long and that this would be a training session. We offered to help to make things go faster, however, he said that he did not want us in his way. Very disrespectful. I had antique furniture and explained that to them but the one guy who had been with the company longer, dismissed me and while I am standing right there, he tells the "newbie" to ignore what the customer says and that you just need to pack the truck. When they finally got done, they charged up an extra $450 for the "overage" of time. I told him that was not our fault that you were taking longer because you had to train someone. However, he did not care and told them (the office) to charge our card. We also kept telling them that they needed to hurry up as the other crew that is unloading will be waiting. Well when we finally got going and the other crew was waiting for us so that they could unload, we found several things damaged. I had a box that said "Fragile" was shoved into spots that it should not have been. Precious items that I have had for over 20 years, broken and destroyed. Items that were my late mothers, gone and I can't replace those memories. So, it did not matter if it says fragile. Our kitchen table scrapped/scratched and chunks of it gone. I am not sure what they were doing, but we had to be a new table as this one was destroyed. Even though this crew was better and more respectful, when they were moving things into the home, they hit the walls and put gauges in the wall. So, now we had to repair the wall. They also allowed us to help unload the truck too. My antique furniture broken and can't be repaired, fragile items crushed and irreplaceable. So many items are broken due to the carelessness and disregard. I am devastated! We reached out to the owner and nothing. So, do not ever use this company!!! read more

If you're thinking about hiring this company, think again. I hired Professional (Un-Professional) Movers to move my furniture from my storage unit to a UHaul truck. They were aware of the fact that I was going to drive 3,000 miles across country. Despite the ample moving blankets and rope I supplied to protect and secure my belongings, they failed to utilize either one. My furniture and all of the boxes at the back of the truck were not tied down and the blankets were just piled on the floor of the truck. After the truck was loaded I drove around the town to finish some errands before my trip and when I went to store more things in the truck, I was unable to open the loading door. It took 2 strong men to squeeze their hands in to lift and push away all of the boxes that had tumbled down from the very back of the truck. Once the door was open one of the men said, "this is unacceptable! You should demand this company repack and refund your money asap!" Of course Professional Movers was not going to refund me my money, but they could repack the next day, another delay on my time and my dime. We waited several hours for the owner to drive up from LA to Bend. They did a far better job of securing my belongings, but missed the fact that one piece of wooden furniture was packed up against the wall of the truck without any protection. When I finally moved the contents into the truck into my storage unit in FL, the movers pointed out the damage to my lingerie chest. It was new damage, I know because I'd inspected everything that came out of storage and went into the truck originally. I contacted Professional movers recently showing pictures of the damage done as a result of their original packing job. Their rebuttal was just what I expected. They suggested that I didn't have enough moving blankets, NOT TRUE! There were unused blankets left over along with 50 yds of cord I'd purchased for them to secure the boxes at the back, which they failed to use. I even asked the movers if they needed more blankets, but they said they had enough. They said that they were not responsible for owner packed items. Well, I didn't pack the furniture on the truck, they did. They said since the furniture was wrapped (green plastic) by another company, they weren't responsible. So, because I took care to have the furniture wrapped in addition to expecting it to be further protected by a moving blanket, they claim no responsibility for their mover's assumption that they didn't have to protect it further. They suggested that the damage was already there. It was not, I checked it as it came out of storage and my sister watched it being loaded on the truck. Upon examining the damage, I saw the green of the plastic rubbed into the long bare spots on the chest. They said they were not responsible because I failed to buy their insurance, and even with that they only reimburse $.60 on the $1.00. SO, IF YOU DON'T BUY THEIR INSURANCE THEY CAN THROW YOUR STUFF AROUND AND DAMAGE YOUR BELONGINGS AND THEY'RE NOT TO BLAME! If you do buy it you only get reimbursed at little over half it's value. Either way it's not in your favor. My last communication with Professional Movers was 5 days ago rebutting their excuses, and I have yet to hear a response. I guess they think they have my money and I have no recourse, they will not respond to me, reimburse me for damage, much less the nightmare of hiring this company. I've yet to unpack my belongings, but when I do, I wouldn't be surprised if there's even more damage. read more

I used professional moving services for my move in September 2020. They showed up on time all wearing PPE that made me feel good. It was a lot of big bulky, heavy stuff and a lot of boxes. Down a long hallway, elevator, into a long yard and up hairy staircase. I could have never done it without their dedicated employees! They worked at a high pase all day. Took 8 hours (two hours past the bid) and I had extra help. But they got it done in a way that nothing was broken or damaged! They even came by about a week later to bring me a part to my armoire that was misplaced in their truck! Honorable, dependable, hard working guys! I highly recommend them and will definitely use them and only them in the future! I checked out every moving company in Central Oregon. Bradley and the crew were great. On time and on schedule. Did a superb job of carefully loading all our furniture, including disassembling dining table and king size bed. Unpackers at other end said it was the best packed truck they had ever offloaded. Not a scratch, dent or break in anything! These guys are real pros! We had all flooring replaced in our house and had to have everything moved out in order to do it. We hired Professional Moving Services of Bend to come and do the move for us. Vicki in the office was very great about getting us scheduled when we needed to and had very good communication with us. The move went very well. Bradley, Chris, and Tobia were very careful in handling all of our furniture. We had a king size log bed upstairs that had to be taken apart and carried downstairs. They made very short and efficient work of that. It was very obvious this was not their first rodeo. They very carefully and safely put a lot of belongings in small spaces. Overall from beginning to the end it was a great experience working with Professional Moving Services and I give them the highest recommendation if you have any moving needs. They were prompt as to scheduled date and time. Helpers and owner were courteous, but impatient when manhandling large items in and out. They scratched the doors of our brand new $2800 stainless steel refrigerator on the front door jamb taking it out of the old house (I watched it happen), and they cracked the wood along the bottom of our entertainment cabinet when putting it on wheeled dollies--they did not support the middle and it broke from the stress of bowing due to weight. We did not make an issue of the cabinet (although the drawers are now difficult to open and close, we can live with it), but we did ask that the refrigerator be repaired. I received assurances from the owner (Bradley) that they would make the refrigerator right. That was nearly 12 months ago, and every time I have contacted him in the interim (five times) he again assured me they would obtain new door panels from Sears. Bradley has obviously just been putting us off hoping we'll go away. I have better things to do than spend the time and money necessary to take him to small claims court, which is evidently the only option he's left us with other than writing a bad review; and I am real disappointed that he would lie to my face (I spoke to him personally three times right at his place of business when he assured me he'd take care of the issue.) This business has a stated income of 500K to one million dollars annually according to their postings online. One would think that they'd be able to satisfy even a small potatoes customer like ourselves with that kind of sales volume, but no, Bradley would rather lie to us and string us along. We are very disappointed . Bend, OR is still a relatively small town, and local businesses here are very friendly and customer oriented--one of the big pluses about this great location. Unfortunately, we're going to have to do whatever we can to alert local residents and businesses to Bradley's tactics--which is too bad, since I hate having to pursue this option. The guys at professional movers are seriously conscientious. They moved my stuff without one bang or ding. They were right on time. They were polite and reasonably priced . The movers themselves were cheerful the whole time. Each one was well groomed and polite . -I stored some things with the company for a while in their warehouse.
