The service at this store is awful. I tried to buy a sewing machine and no one there knew what sewing machine to use for hemming without opening the box. I decided to return the sewing machine that I did buy. The cashier said there was a 25 restocking fee, we asked to speak to the manager a guy came over that she called and said, there's no restocking fee. What are you talking about? We told him that the cashier, who was standing right next to him, told us there was a 25% restocking fee. well I'm not the manager in the rudest way possible treated us very poorly like we were the ones that were ignorant and wrong, I will never go back to the store read more

Do not go to this store!!! They had a women at the front desk coughing all over products. They should be closed down due to Covid-19. Completely inappropriate!!! Jo Ann's has great sales. Be sure to print the coupons out from the website. You can usually find the 40% off coupon easily. The fabric selection is okay. I find it better than hobby lobby. I despise when the cutting counter does not use the number system. I wish all the employees were consistent with the system. Waiting for fabric to be cut is a necessary evil but when they don't use an efficient system it makes it unbearable. read more

I have never been to Naples before, I came to visit my son and parents. We stopped at Jo-Ann's to do some quick shopping around 8;15 pm. Most of the sales people on thee floor where very helpful and nice but then we went to check out and that's when things got ugly! Their was a male cashier, tall, brown hair who had this look on his face like "Can't you people see that it's 8:45pm He rings us up and then my dad realized he needed more change from the car so he sent my son to get it and that man just huffed and puffed and made it very obvious we were no welcome there! read more

I'm not sure why this store got such poor reviews. I went in 30 minutes before closing on New Years Eve. Purchased a few yards of quilting fabric and some thread and everyone was super nice. While this Joanne Fabrics is smaller than others in the area and may not have the full range of products as the larger stores, sales people are always helpful and may actually take you to the product you are looking for. They also know if they don't carry a product. Checkout is almost always efficient; at any place there may be a sudden crush, and Joanne's gets another checker very quickly. They are also helpful on the phone to check if a particular item they carry is also in stock. Fine store. Someone gave a scathing review of the whole store because one checkout person was rude. They should instead have noted his name and informed management at that time or even by phone the next day. Management can't fix a problem they don't know about. read more

First and last time at this store! I went in Wednesday nigjt, 01/17/18 specifically to buy clearanced Chritmas items. Signage was prominately displayed as 70-85% off. After carefully selecting my products, I presented them to the cashier just to be told they were NOT on sale. Really? If the associate was new, he should have been supervised. People need to know that you should never yell at a cashier. This woman was ignorant and very rude. The cashier tried to explain to her the problem and the customer kept lashing out and making a huge scene, trying to get other customers to her side. We were on the register across from her and clearly understood what the cashier was trying to explain to her, but the customer obviously didn't. Try to show more respect for your cashiers, if you get mad and don't understand, just ask and get to the bottom of it instead of lashing out. Very disrespectful. (The problem was when you reach 100 on your subtotal you get discounts I believe. Well the customer was at 99 and said she'd buy another item, but what she didn't understand was it needs to be SUBTOTAL which was around 80 something, cause the customer used other discounts. Just spoke with Chris at the Naples Florida Joann fabric and asked whether or not they had a Speedy stitcher at the store. She said that she thought they had an awl but wasn't sure if it was the speedy stitch or not. The past several times we have visited the Naples store, our experience has been less than pleasant. Every employee (yes, every) is reluctant to help, answer questions, and/or assist in any way. One employee wouldn't let me finish my question before she was telling me, "No. We don't have that." I hadn't even said what I was looking for yet! Another cashier got irritated that I asked if my item had shown up on sale. Coming from 12+ years of retail experience, I get that we have bad days where we aren't having the best time and don't want to be at work. I think it is a little extreme to sigh deeply and loudly when a customer asks to make sure they have had the right discount applied to their transaction. I was very shocked to see a 1.5 star rating on Yelp upon leaving this location over the weekend. I knew our experience was bad but then to see that others had experienced other terrible visits was a real eye opener. I wanted to write this because I don't think upper management understands the severity of the situation. I tried leaving an email for them on the website and the site was down and I couldn't even do that! We were made to feel unwelcome and that we were burdening the employees of this location. I have thick skin but this was a little too rude for me not to say anything. I hope no one else has to go through this experience! read more

Very POOR customer service, no one around to help you when you have questions. Long lines at the checkout counter. They really need new management at this place. Needed to buy new fabric for a big project, but instead left in disappointment and took my money to another business. read more

I was very disappointed when I asked one of the staff for help I got a nasty attitude and no help. Then asked to see a manager and even more disappointed that she was the same nasty old lady who was no help and was miserable. Then I asked to speak to a different manager and as I told her what happened she just looked at me like she didn't care wow so disappointed I would never go back there again that explains why the store was empty. read more

I agree. Very poor customer service. I used to shop in this store exclusively. But the sales staff has changed. Michelle waited on me at the checkout and was extremely rude. Love the products. Love the prices. But good friendly service is far more important. Hobby Lobby and Michaels will be my craft stores of choice. read more

I love JoAnn Fabric. No they don't have everything I need all the time ,but usually if I can't find something in another store I will find at Jo Anns. I found the customer service was helpful. I have not taken any of their classes. But hope to soon they look like they have fun. read more
