Worst Joann's store I've ever been to. Service is marginal at best. Leftand won't be back.

We were traveling across the US and stopped here as this store had the State fabric material my GF was looking for. The staff there; Rachel, Julie and Felicia were very helpful in directing us to the area of specialized material as well as informing us of the clearance and discount fabric material. Julie cut the material for us. Felicia assisted us and Rachel checked us out. Great customer service. The employees were helpful, friendly and truly enjoy working and helping customers. In a day and age where customer service seems to be lacking, these three should be commended for there dedication to their work and showed ethics that should be an example for all workers. read more

Do not work here. Employees get treated like trash, hours are unfair and biased. The hard workers are mistreated the most it seems. The district manager is just as bad. She lets all of this slide and makes it worse for employees. Rules are just made up bs and sometimes not even enforced. Employees are told they'll get written up for something but when another employee does it, nothing happens. Ive never worked here but I know someone and it's obvious that the employees are unhappy. read more

I have made an online order for store pickup, only to have to deal with lazy employees that don't want to do the curbside pickup. I'm high risk, but they don't care! Said employees also made fun of me for coming in several times, also had a good laugh and giggle , bc apparently the way I was dressed warranted them making fun of me. Yes I had the email stating my order was ready. They just kept pretending they didn't know what I was speaking about. Continued to make fun of me. THEN, I find out my card was charged an Extra $34 for items i didn't even buy! And getting someone to ACTUALLY email you back, is a joke. Im still waiting for their customer service department to contact me regarding this experience. I'm sorry I ever spent my money at this store! I won't make the same mistake in the future! UPDATE: I now have another Unauthorized charge on my card from this Joann's. They now owe me MORE than $80+ for unauthorized charges. I'm seriously about to press charges for thrift and fraud.... Having only moved to Pueblo 3 months ago, I had hoped that joann would be the same as the other ones ive been to. Nope. I've been to this store twice now and walked out empty handed both times. Every sIngle aisle is trashed. Who ever the manager is should be ashamed of themselves and embarrassed to even collect a paycheck. This place needs to close for a week and re-organize the entire store. The next time your doing your books and wondering why your not making much money - it's because no one wants to sort through piles of crap, search for a prices, or wander through a store that looks like it just survived an earthquake. The manager needs to walk over to hobby lobby (that's what the rest of us do), look at their fabric section and at least see what things are supposed to look like in a professional store. read more

If I could leave less than one star, I would. All but two employees are rude and lazy. I have had to ask for help a couple of times and been met with rolled eyes and people acting like I'm inconveniencing them by asking them to do their jobs. This particular store's employees could turn people off of crafting entirely just to not have to visit this location again. I'll just go to Walmart next time. read more

Horrible customer service! Went in to get padding for my dog bed. All the high density foam stocked in home price tag says 9.99 they want to charge me 14.99 said I was wrong wasn't there. The people are great. Had to buy some items for a party. Ended up buying lace, candles and floral items. Unlike other reviews, I had found candles in the clearance section and was charged the full price instead of 75% off. At the cash register the employee took the time to get someone to check the price for me (they were not able to leave the front OBVIOUSLY) and I was able to get the 75% off. It could have been because I didn't throw a tantrum when I saw the price or maybe ACTUALLY understood that employees aren't magicians. In addition, the employee had told me about their online coupons and was able to save money (50% off the lace). I understand that we all want fast service but I definitely feel that the employee that helped me was trying to be swift while providing customer service. read more
