(100% trans and queer friendly/affirming and a physician who will actually listen to your concerns and not just tell you you're fine!!) As someone who's 20 and has been treated for chronic pain and illness for 15 of those 20 years, Dr. V is the only person to a) actually listen to me and not just blow me off that i'm "fine" and overreacting or making up my pain, but b) actually helped me with it. After one session my chronic back pain was the best it's ever been, as fast as it ever had before after a flair up as bad as i was having. I've also had hearing loss in one ear, and I promise you I am not making this up when i say that i have seen 4 ENTs who all said there was seemingly nothing wrong with my ear, and Dr. V is the only person to actually have helped me in a year of being hard of hearing in one ear. while working on my neck/head, i actually felt a pressure release and gained hearing back that I had lost in that ear. it was incredible. also, she is very knowledgeable period. but especially about chronic health issues. anyone out there with any form of EDS, you need to see dr. v. she knows what's up. i have hEDS and she helped me figure out what to alter/tell my PT to alter to help with my pain/main instability areas. she also knew what NOT to do to further injure myself. if you have specific needs that you need listened to, dr. v will listen, and then not just help you with those, but also show you stuff about your body that you didn't even know was not normal and then give you relief in ways you didn't even know you needed.

Ms. Duvuvei agreed to order laboratory testing. I requested additional laboratory studies. Ms. Duvuvei stated that she never heard of several of the requested tests. She indicated that she would need approval. Dr. Michael P. McGonigal entered the exam room. He stated that the requested tests would not be ordered because "we do not do those here". When I sought clarification regarding the denial, he refused to treat me and advised me to go back to a specialist. Access to my patient portal was immediately terminated. He has endangered my welfare by refusing to care for an educated patient who asks questions, and by not permitting me to retrieve my medical information from the patient portal.

Earlier this week I had my first and last visit to the practice of Dr. Jason Luciano at his…read moreAspinwall PA Office. I was referred to him by my PCP to have a cyst removed. The procedure seemed to go well and I returned to my office. Once there I noticed that my back felt wet and, as you can see in the photo, the wound was leaking blood. I called Luciano's office and spoke with a nurse who I told I was back at the office and the wound needed attention. He suggested I get gauze and tape and apply it to the wound. I noted that I couldn't do it myself since the wound is on my back. What was I supposed to do? Strip to the waist and ask a colleague to do it? I then told the nurse I was immediately returning to Luciano's office. When I arrived the Physician's Assistant treated the wound and redressed it. I asked to speak with the doctor but was told he wasn't available and I could speak with the Office Manager. My conversation with her was, to put it mildly, highly unpleasant. I won't be returning to this doctor and I've made arrangements to have the sutures removed by my PCP.
