I've had back and neck issues for over 20 years and had every type of therapy possible. My initial exam was thorough and the digital x-ray allowed me to see the results and discuss them with Dr. Palamone. I liked his approach and the fact that he listens and explains his approach thoroughly and is extremely knowledgeable. It's great to use the hydro table before my adjustment. It's like lying on a heated water bed with jets on your back. By the time it's finished, I'm extremely relaxed for the adjustment. The table used for adjustments is designed so you don't have to bend or sit up to get on and off it. Instead, you stand in front of it and it lowers to the ground. I've been to many practitioners who negated the adjustment by having you sit up afterward, using your stomach muscles to get off the table. Dr. Palamone's adjustments are tailored for my issues and this makes a huge difference. He always asks if there's anything else bothering me, in case I didn't include it on the intake that day. Personally, I like that his initial and appointment intakes are digital. I was able to fill out my medical history at home before my appointment and give an accurate history because I could research any questions I didn't anticipate. And, the final disappointment of my visit was that the doctor spent less than five minutes with me. The first ten minutes they stuck me on a water bed, then I had approximately three minutes of doctor adjustment, then was told to come back later in the week. I wasn't able to continue visiting due to scheduling conflicts, but I won't plan on returning anytime in the future regardless of my schedule. The staff was nice and Dr. Palamone seemed enthusiastic and efficient, but this wasn't the place for me.

I'm a medical student and generally healthy, so I know I don't have a lot of issues and just how he described the spine/nervous system was completely wrong. Ploucha was also strangely claiming that I have to pay a lot of it out of pocket because my insurance benefits weren't as good as they actually are. What's worse is that sessions are extremely rushed, and 15 out of the 20/30 minutes is just lying down on a massage chair. Manipulations were 5 minutes max, and were really simple things I can do on my own. He takes x-rays for the sessions, which I'm pretty sure is so that he can bill you/your insurance for more services. Healthcare professionals don't take x-rays unless theres a reason to do so, and Ploucha is indiscriminately exposing his patients to unnecessary radiation. I told him I won't be going to his practice, but he called a few months after to try to get me in for a session. I think he forgot that I wasn't happy with my experience, and was trying to get more money out of me. Based on how rushed his sessions are and how he just puts his patients on massage chairs, he is definitely a businessman (and a scam artist) more than a provider. Edit in response to Ploucha on Google reviews: Read the unfavorable reviews, and they describe the same exact issues I had (rushed sessions, false diagnoses, false information, overly long and expensive treatment plans).
