They have very large selection of fabric and many, many accessories. They sell sewing machines, they sell sewing tables and assorted furniture. It is owned by a husband and wife. I always seem to deal with Jim and he truly is one of the kindest, and giving men I have ever met. They always run various specials and they have a wonderful deal where you buy this box that has all kinds of samples of notions etc, there is also some kind of voucher in the box where you get a free yard of material every month. Along with that special if you buy a machine you then get 20% off for the next I don't know how many years. They have terrific values in their clearance section too. The clearance section is always changing so keep watching it!

I went there had the fabric cut, found some matching thread, Also found a few Christmas items on sale. I went to check out. No cashier so I had to press a call button. I clearly hear a cashier is in the way. Meanwhile, at least 5 minutes have passed and now there is a huge line. I waited. few more minutes then decided to leave. This is not the first time this has happened. It's a shame the fabric was cut but I but it obvious they company does not care loosing customers. I doubt I'll ever go back to a Joann Fabric store and I will not order on mine from them. I did however ordered my things from Etsy. I paid triple, but it was already made and I supported a small business. Joann Fabric your too cheap to pay a cashier. It's obvious your also to cheap to install a self checkout. I'm sure you'll be out of business soon enough.

I did receive partial credit for the order, but that isn't really the point---the point was to have a quick and easy purchase. I provided the photo (attached)---good policy would be to immediately ship replacement thread, not put me through the hassle of redoing everything with a process that I now do not trust. How hard can it be to put a little paper into a box so that spools of thread don't unspool in transit?

It smelt like mothballs in there. You have to wash your fabric immediately once you get it because it stinks in there. All the styles of fabric were dusty and tough. Everything was overpriced and you are limited to an outdated selection of textiles and prints! The service was bad. Everybody has an attitude. I will never be back. Things have changed drastically at this store and it is not worth the hype.

TDO is an amazing place for decorators, quilters, and costumers. I don't know for certain, but I think the inventory has to be mostly mill ends, or the prices could never be this low. So don't expect the very newest fashions, but do expect good value for your projects.

We came here for the first time for a girls day with all the cousins and had a great time. They…read morewelcome walk-ins for the ceramics but we made an appointment ahead of time to do the glass fusing! We had a wonderful time. They walked us through how to pick out colors and use the tools and would loop back every once in a while to make sure we were doing well and to answer questions. We have a wide range of ability in our group (aged 18 to 82) and I know we can be very loud but they were very kind and patient with us. Once we got used to the technique with the glass cutters, we ended up very happy with our pieces and the experience as a whole. We would absolutely come back and we can't wait to see our finished pieces!!

They had tons of ceramics to too from and the prices were fair too. Both pieces that we selected were about $25-30 and that included the firing and all of the supplies to paint. They had tons of options for colors as well as tons of supplies. We finished our painting and were told to come pick it up in a week. Can't wait to see how it all turns out.
