Excellent quality of all their products! Unique fabrics that are gorgeous. The needlework kits, cross stitch and embroidery, were very unique too. Sashiko products are also sold here too, which is what I decided to purchase some of. Some of the items for sale here I had never seen anywhere else. The staff person working was knowledgeable, helpful, and nice. I also thought the prices were good because of the high quality of the items. Will visit here again on my next trip to Evanston.

At first the rip didn't bother me, but then it got bigger and bigger. It probably didn't help that my children kept sitting right on top of the rip. Sigh... Finally i couldn't handle looking at it and reached out to my decorator to see if we could get it reupholstered or if she could help me find a new piece of furniture. She suggested getting someone to sew the rip. She said it wouldn't be perfect, but would hold me over until I was ready for the rest of the room. We had just finished a bathroom remodel and think she was well aware I was over pouring money into the house for awhile. I did request a quote on Yelp and Padi responded right away. They confirmed they could fix the rip for $225, but warned me it wouldn't be perfect. We set a time for them to come by the next week and they showed up right on the dot. I showed them the rip and they looked skeptical that they could fix it, but got right to work and 30 minutes later it wasn't perfect (as they claimed), but it was SO much better...and well worth $225! My biggest mistake was not calling them right when it started ripping because I think then it would have been even less noticeable. I"ll definitely reach out to them directly in the future for any furniture restoration needs. They were responsive, reliable and did exactly what they did they were going to do. In fact, the finished product was even better than I expected!

The owner, Robin, and one of the other employees were fantastic at leading a group of 21 first grade girls through painting a mermaid tail (there were so many choices for the canvas painting - my daughter happened to choose this one). They can do them more or less complex based on the age group of the party. Robin was truly fantastic to work with. She took care of everything, including ordering pizzas from elsewhere in the mall. I brought the paper goods and cupcakes and everything else was handled. We were in a party room in the back that is utilitarian but also decorated. I definitely appreciated that there were separate tables for the art and the eating! I was perfectly happy to not be out in the front of the store with the general public. And the price was totally reasonable given everything that they did for us. Would definitely host another party here! We've also come on a random day just to do a walk in ceramic painting, which was also great. Lots of selections at all sorts of different price points. You can also do walk in canvas painting.
