In the area to see the relatives and my aunt took us to visit Pairpoint, which has been in business since 1837! Talk about being around for a while! Pairpoint is America's oldest glass work company and an informative and interesting shopping experience. Watch the glass-makers create their pieces. The extraordinary craftsmanship is fascinating to watch. The Sagamore location on Cape Cod offers a chance to witness the artistry of glassblowing Monday through Friday. The gift shop is open every day of the week! The finest homes in America have displayed pieces of Pairpoint glass. According to the Pairpoint website, "glass is an art form and as such is in a continuous state of transformation. Pairpoint quickly established itself at the forefront by consistently inventing new techniques and stylistic trends that are copied to this day. In addition to the famous "puffies", Lava, Peachglow and Satin glass were first created by Pairpoint glassblowers." Pairpoint provides custom glass and crystal commemorative pieces and trophies to some of America's most prestigious sporting clubs and organizations. In 1974, Pairpoint began issuing limited edition pressed cup plates that have become highly collectible. There are now about 100 different patterns to collect. The beautiful glass ware is something to behold. I am not into buying a lot of stuff and putting it up on shelves to collect dust but that Cranberry glass was so gorgeous! The previous molds and items used/made decades (if not hundreds of years) ago were also neat to see and provided interesting insight to the evolution of the company. For the gift shop, I would have appreciated a few more pieces that were in the $25-50 range. There were a lot of small, inexpensive pieces at $15 or less, but then it jumped to larger, expensive pieces ($60+) with not much in the middle.

We worked with Tricia who showed us options, shared the pieces pros and cons, and was never pushy. We ended up investing significantly in a number of pieces, but a quick online search showed their prices for the Telescope brand were very fair. The delivery charge was nominal & the team was positive and creative in getting our pieces up to the deck. Confirming prior terrible reviews of staging. We hired them through Angi's revitalize program…read more(through my agent) so I did not choose the team, we were matched. The staging was delayed by a week. Once the house was staged it was very obvious it did not meet the luxury listing we had: bedrooms had just a bed/nightstand only, the beds looked like boxes and had thin bedding, very sparsely furnished rooms, almost no decor and untouched kitchen area. Just very sad and lifeless design. We gave them a second attempt and although it was a bit better it still was not up to par compared to our listing price. We respectfully asked to destage. The destaging part took forever. While the team offered a third attempt at staging (which was declined), mysteriously the truck become unavailable to destage until the next week, then the end of the week, then Friday, then Friday morning and finally a 30min heads up when we are 60in away. After destaging we got a $7,500 bill and had the task of removing lots of oversized 2inch nails from our walls. I unfortunately cannot recommend working with Setting the Space. I made a similar review on Angi's list.

Jerry was so sweet, he came up to me, introduced himself and asked my name. After I told him he asked how he could help me, I explained that I was just hanging out while my parents were being boring. I saw cute bathing suits and lots of groceries there too. What we have back in California like this is called "Big N Lots" and previous to that- "Pick N Save." The idea behind it is inexpensive! I like that concept. If I walked in with more money, time, and suitcase space-I just know I could do some real damage to my pocketbook here. I dare not go beyond the initial entry perimeter because I know that those discontinued Pop Tarts and cheap nailpolish remover is just what I need! Kudo's for the great big parking lot on the main drag. Too bad the next door Dunkin Donuts relocated-but then again it just went right across the street. I bet Job Lot in summer is packed with the Cape Cod tourist crowd but in May, it was serene and pleasing. Keep up the good work with selling stuff we do not necessarily need but think we do anyways!
